As I've stated, I never lay -4.5 or more in pre-season. I will finalize my selections tomorrow, but as of now I am passing on this game. If you combine those two sentences, you could rationalize that I lean toward the favorite, so I don't necessarily disagree with you.
Now normally, any pre-season dog of +4.5 or more is an automatic play for me. However, I also like to play against the defending Super Bowl champion in pre-season, and the Colts have never done well in these games under Dungy, preferring not to show their stuff. Also, although the Cowboys also have a history of pre-season indifference, they may have some mild intersest in knocking off the champs to please the home folks.

Hi everybody,
The NFL investment season is finally here, and just in time because the other place I invest in ( the stock market) is getting ready to tank.
My first pick of the season is going to be Dal -4.5 (Pinny) for 2 units. I see that IMGV94 is also picking the boys. This gives me a little comfort, knowing the great record from last year.
This year my investment manefesto goes like this. (Originally posted in May sometime).
Preseason -- 8 units however I feel like it.
Regular season (1) investment per week for:
Weeks 1 & 2 8 units each
Weeks 3-14 10 units each
Weeks 15-17 8 units each
My super nova lock of the moment is an additional 5 units for whichever week that happens to be.
Playoffs 4 plays 2 units each
Supperbowl 5 units
Good luck to everbody and please don't blow your wad to early, remember its only the preseason.

My reasoning for this game is simple. I think there is a strong possibilty the Boys win this game and when a team wins they usually cover the spread.
Also Indy's last game was a SUPERBOWL Victory and the Boys last game was a miracle loss. I think the Boys and the coach care more about starting the preseason off on a good note.
Thanks for the feedback fellas.

Not a bad start to the season.
My next pick is NYG/CAR OVR 35 for 1 unit
I believe that carolina's scrubs will be able to move the ball and score on the NYG scrubs, while Cofflin will be trying to win the game as in the previous 2 years of preseasons will show.

I will be using the traditional 11/10 vig system to score myself.
