Warner is a class act. Based on what he said I think he will stay retired. "I am looking forward to whats to come next in my life." That I think seals the deal. I really have grown to like Warner the last few seasons. The dude took two of the worst teams in history and made them great and aside from the great numbers the dude is tough as nails. Sorry to see him leave but I'm glad to seem him go out on his own terms with no regrets.Comment -

Warner is not a glory whore like Favre. He was not that emotional yesterday when he announced his retirement. He has also been to more Superbowls than Favre. He will be a first ballot HOF'er. Hell Joe Namath is in the HOF.
Here is another Stat I found this morning. Out of the last 14 QB's to make the HOF in the last 25 years only one other QB had a better completion percentage, yards per pass attempt and yards per game. That was Dan Marino.

Yeah, I mean why do people act like he's trying to get in based on a strictly arena league career or something? He probably should have been MVP last year since he had more yards, touchdowns, and a higher quarterback rating than Manning. The Rams had 9 straight losing seasons before Warner led them to a Super Bowl win. Look how dysfunctional the rams have been since getting rid of him. The Cardinals had only 1 winning season in 25 years when Warner led their Super Bowl run, to be followed up with another winning season and a playoff win. Every year he started all 16 games, his teams ALWAYS made it to the Super Bowl. Who knows what may have happened if he could've accomplished that this year. They win Tennessee game he missed, then the last Green Bay game of regular season has meaning and a win there gets them a #2 seed and a bye. Getting them time to rest injured players.
