I love the Saints, will line get up to +7?

So here's the deal....Vegas knows that after the Saints burned thousands of bettors by not covering the spread last game bettors are very hesitant on betting on them right away. Since Indy just played two good defenses and faired well against them the public automatically thinks Indy is the play. So Vegas set the line low enough as to get all the action on Indy to start, set it too high and you get less action. The line will probably peak at +7.5 for maybe a few hours but only the people who monitor this closely will reap the benefits.
The Saints will have an emotional advantage in this one due to never being there, the Hurricane Katrina mess and the fact that they just pulled out a close emotional win at home. One last chance for them to showcase all their weapons and leave it all out on the field. This will be a close game that I would expect to come down to another winning field goal by either team. Just my .02.

Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. There is no way that books are going to allow themselves to be middled out of business by the sharps. There are perple in Vegas who could jump on this in a second. Right now Vegas has lines from 4.5 to 6, all rather meaningless numbers as far as middles are concerned. This will not change, especially since some of the smaller books are the ones that are fluctuating the line.
