As we all can plainly see you have been wishing upon a star for the Jets to be eliminated before the Colts would have to deal with them their-selves but now your beloved Colts have to face the music and take care of their own problems just like it should be. To me this match-up is going to draw more attention hint hint than the Superbowl itself

Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way. This clown was all over SD's nuts and still owes me points for that game. I have yet to see a Colts fan on this forum actually contribute to NFL handicapping (which I thought was the idea). If there is one, I apologize but I just haven't found you.

See this is the type of stuff that makes no sense. When you looked up these stats did you notice the Jets are 7-3 ATS in road games or that for the year the Colts are 4-5 ATS in HOME games? Take away the home laydown game and they are still 4-4 ATS at home.
How about the fact that INDY was only favored by 3 in their first meeting. Or the fact that it was only a 5 point lead when they decided to pull Manning out and the Jets owned them in time of possesion.
The Colts are averaging 23.4 points a game while the Jets are averaging 22.8 in road games. Bottom line we can throw numbers out all day for both sides and still not have substantional evidence for taking one or the other. So stop posting stupid threads like this one, (when you know you're just swinging on the nads of the favs just like S.D.) we all know your a colts fan so spare us.

Guess what other Super Bowl winner did that? The 2000 Ravens!

They only beat one playoff team (barely) before they got in as a wilcard.

As I dig and dig through the stats, it's just insane how these teams are alike!

(This is of course allowing you to dismiss the last two season wins.)

Jets have the best offensive line in the NFL. That means a lot. I think they will wear down the small Colts defense that is geared towards pass rushing. Jets have a really good chance to win this game. Having the number 1 defense helps a lot too.

But I like to try to remember that it's a team game. And to remember that line play is still a big part of it.
