This is the bottom line: Games are won by intangibles.
Ex: Derek Jeter----The ultimate intangible winning player
Are Jeter's stats great? not great. The man carries so many different intangibles that make him a first ballot hall of famer.
The Jets have an edge in intangibles and that's the deciding factor in this game

Games are won by having more talented players that are atleast as well coached & prepared as their opponents! The Jets are hungry and playing w/confidence but they don't have the offense to beat the Colts! PERIOD!
Lets look at the Week 16 game between these two teams!
1. The game was absolutely CRUCIAL to the Jets and the Colts had already clinched homefield!
2. The Colts sat Pierre Garcon (best deep threat), Charlie Johnson (starter-LT), Melvin Bullitt (starter-FS), Clint Sessions (starter-LB), and Jerome Powers (starting CB).
3. The Jets had 3 points of offense w/a KO return TD when the Colts called off the dogs w/5:00 to go 3Q
4. Peyton was on pace for 288 yards/0 picks...playing without Pierre Garcon
In summary,
With all the motivation being on the Jets side, 5 Colts starters sitting, and a Jets KO return TD....they were still down by 5 points when the Colts cared! If they get another special teams TD (highly unlikely) or a defensive TD then maybe they threaten the Colts to the end! I see a defensive struggle...giving the Jets D and Revis (best CB I've ever seen!) alot of credit but Colts are doing fine against the run this year (Ray Rice 67 last week...Chris 2K Johnson less than 140 in 2 games)
Colts 24-13
I would be interested in waging my points...laying 7.5 if anyone is interested!!
