Dallas is over hyped right now and I am going to prove it. Yes Dallas finally broke their December curse but against who???
Eagles,Redskins,and Saints.
First the Eagles: well you see the Eagles are a inter division rivalry which Dallas owns. So you can't judge their capabilities off of a team that they basically know almost better than themselves. You want examples okay I have plenty: the Giants own the Cowboys and the Giants down right suck. The Bengals unusually owned Pittsburgh this year. The 49ers owned the Cardinals this year but could not own anyone else. The Jaguars owned the Texans. Miami owned the Jets ETC.
Cowboys other win in December was Redskins which is a embarrassing joke as a member of the NFL.
Dallas's other win in December was the Aints better known as the Saints.Cowboys were lucky to be playing New Orleans at the right time because the Saints were in the midst of a downward spiral barely escaping defeat from Atlanta (joke) and Washington (pitiful).
So who are the Cowboys? I honestly don't know but this much I do know. They are not proven.
Now on to Farve&Vikings: I picked this team about mid season to go to the Superbowl but they faded somewhat at seasons end. I Analise-d their losses and this is what I came up with:
Their loss @ Arizona 30-17: This was a Sunday night game and we all Know the unexplainable things that usually happen on Sunday and Monday nights. We all seen what Arizona was capable of last week when they dismantled the Packers all but on the scoreboard. Guess what? The Packers beat Dallas 17-7 in week 10 I will explain this further later on.
Now on to their loss @ Carolina 26-7: Yes it was a Sunday night now you might say Carolina is a weak team and I would agree with you if Jake Delhomme was at the QB position but the fact is he was not. Actually if he was not in there from the beginning of the season I'd be willing to bet a hefty wager that Carolina would be one of the top contenders in this playoff race cause lets face it Delhomme down right sucks as a Quarterback he ruined their hopes last year in the playoffs with 5ints.against Arizona.Jake also ruined all hope at the very beginning of this season for the Panthers.
Carolina developed Quickly in to a winning team after Jake's injury with convincing authority winning 80% of their games from the absence of Delhomme till seasons end.
Minnesota's loss @ Chicago 36-30: Guess what this was ?? Yes a inter-division rivalry Monday night game. I believe Farve's old bones can't take the elements of cold weather anymore causing him to be inaccurate because of tendons and ligaments tightening up from previous injuries and the inevitable natural aging process.
Now lets look at Minnesota's last win (before giving the old man who is arguably the best ever to play the Quarterback position) a two week very much needed rest for his continuance of greatness.
Giants@Vikings 44-7: Minnesota totally dismantling the Giants who owns the Cowboys like a read headed stepchild.
If you are not convinced yet who the obvious choice here is boys let me go on even further:
Remember I told you about Green-bay earlier? Well it was for a reason and here it is:
The Packers VS Dallas matchup is the the best way to gauge as a tool on how the Cowboys will match-up with the Vikings. Reason: the Packers&Vikings run practically identical offensive schemes which puts the ball in Minnesota's court meaning advantage Vikings.
Now for the icing on the cake:
Vikings at home are UNDEFEATED! The only 2 teams who gave Minnesota a challenge at home all season long was:
San-Francisco 27-24: In week 3 which is basically an extension of preseason.
The second challenge was Baltimore 33-31:In week 6 which was still before identity was matured.
Ravens are also a proven contender in this Championship race. I will not be shocked if the Ravens are in the Superbowl representing the AFC.
Minnesota's remaining 6 home games the average pummeling Farve&company handed out to their competitors was an astounding 23 point average margin of victory!!!!!! With the lowest margin at 17points and the highest at 37!!!
Vikings total season average margin of victory at home was still a dominating 19 points!!
Romo VS Farve advantage Farve by a landslide why?? There are plenty of advantages Farve has over Romo but the most important one is:
Romo Idolizes Brett because as a child he always pretended to be Farve in his backyard as a hero "type" childhood Fantasy in which he never grew out of to this very day. However though now is his chance coming with tremendous and demanding pressure in which I'm pretty sure if Tony makes one mistake this will send him in an overwhelming downward spiral in a whirlwind toward inevitable defeat in a handbag.
My reasoning for this:I believe in his own mind Tony will believe he letdown the one who Tony believes is the great one which was the one who gave him hope and belief of becoming great in the first place.Tony will Then become embarrassed and intimidated quickly in Brett's presence. Tony will then quietly accept to himself as being a failure in Brett's eyes and watch his Idol Brett Farve at work from the backseat.
Boys it is obvious who I like in this one and here it is in mathematical form:
Home-field advantage
+
23 PT.avg.victory at home
+
undefeated at home
+
Room temperature(dome) = fountain of youth for Brett's tendons&ligaments in his aging arm able-ling him to throw with deadly pinpoint accuracy sharp as a Sniper.
+
The 12th man: meaning ear popping decibels from Viking fans
+
Cowboys not proven yet. Also not experienced at this level of game pressure
+
Cowboys over confidence no fault of their own
+
Astronomical pressure on Tony Romo not to disappoint his Idol Brett Farve
=
loss inevitably for Dallas
