This must be the most overhyped team coming into the playoffs in quite a few years. They were GIVEN a spot in the playoffs because they are so bad. Rex has been taking one too many viagra pills because he sure does have a hard on for his defense and running game and the media has caught on.

The Jets pummeled AFC North champion Bengals 37-0 last Sunday. Some striking stats in that contest came from Cincy QB Carson Palmer who was 1-11 for zero yards and an interception. Not stellar numbers from a guy hoping to lead his team into the playoffs with some momentum. Granted, Cincy had its post-season locked up before playing New York, but having to play the follow weekend again, I was expecting more from this 10-6 club.


The Jets head into this playoff match up having won five of their last six games; the Bengals stumble in having lost three of their last four. During the regular season, the Jets had the top ranked passing defense in the league, along with the top ranked rushing attach on offense. That combination makes them winners on the road. JETS - ML.
