I went all the way back to 1990 and this trend seems to be continuing. I remember hearing this stat all the time years and years ago, but now I haven't heard it in a long time. I thought maybe the streak was broken somewhere. Maybe I missed it, but I checked all the way back over the last 20 years and couldn't find where it was broken anywhere.
