Why are Chargers Favorites

SD might not take this game seriously, but how can anyone take Washington seriously? I wouldn't risk injury either, but I think Stan Humphries could crawl out of his rocker and beat the Redskins this week. Good luck on the game

The Chargers have a bye. It's not in their best interest to rest their starters for the full game, with the exception of some injured players and possibly LT, because, unlike previous seasons, he finally is injury-free going into the playoffs.

I'd probably take SD 1H, but Volek at QB can beat these Skins as well.

Osho, I agree with you 100%. Washington is definitely the correct side as I thought they would be favored by at least a field goal.

The same can be said for the Colts and I can almost guarantee Buffalo will be favored by 7 points or more.

I agree 100%. SD has the bye to rest, so I think the starters go for the 1H.

But Billy Volek is better than Jason Campbell. Volek is maybe the best backup in the league. I love SD's depth as well. Redskins are slumping. SD is @ home. Also, Zorn and the team knows he's out as HC, so there might be a letdown. I'm not saying I'm playing SD, but the line isn't way off or anything.

go to sd website,their going full throttle in this game....norv turner will not rest anybody that doesnt need to be,he believes you have to continue like this is like any other game,sd will cover easy

I'm staying away... If you have learned anything from NFL betting, don't waste your $$$ on games that are pointless in week 17... If anything bet on games where you know that the starters will not be resting!

SD won't have to play in the cold.

They have the #2 seed, which means a bye then a home game. Then they'd either be travelling to Indy to play indoors or else they'd get another home game. The Super Bowl is in Miami.
