#10if you find value in the points on a dog shouldn't you find value in the moneyline, too?Originally posted by Dr.GonzoI took the points but wimped out on the ML

my friend and i were having this conversation about 20 minutes prior to kick tonight.

i said carolina should be getting no more than 6 here. i said i don't figure them for the su win but i like the odds im currently getting on it and going to take them moneyline, as well. he then called it absurd that i bet carolina moneyline thinking minnesota losses. somewhere round late 3rd quarter i receive a text saying "your on the right side." at games end i receive another text. this one read well played.Comment

#11Yep. I always double dip on the dog, taking the points & ML. I feel it reduces my variance.Originally posted by dem_redbirdsif you find value in the points on a dog shouldn't you find value in the moneyline, too?

 well played.

But I don't always do that with the favorite because I get bit by backdoor covers too often. Call it superstition. I'll tease the heck out of favorites whenever possible, but rarely lay heavy points except under specific circumstances.Comment
