GiveMeaBJ Thursday Play (YTD: 25-15 (62.5%) (+17.21 Units)
Jacksonville Jaguars +3 (-110 TheGreek) to win 2 Units
Jacksonville Jaguars +130 (TheGreek) risking 0.8 Units to win 1.04 Units
Thursday night matchup and given the line I am expecting the Colts to get all the money here. It's going to take a ton to get this baby off of 3. This line actually opened at Jags +6 earlier and I wish I had seen it there, now you can't find anything better then +3 and I doubt we see +3.5. This looks like a good spot for the Jaguars against the Colts. Everytime these two teams meet it always seems to be a hungry Jags team keeping up with the Colts. The Jags have lost by more then one score just once in the past 10 meetings and are 6-3-1 ATS vs Indy in it's last 10. It is going to be interesting to see just how much the starters play for the Colts. Every year they get a good amount of rest once they are locked in to a slot but this year they have the goal of going undefeated. I don't know if that will nessicarily effect the Colts descision and from what I have read nobody seems sure of what the Colts will do. The game being played on Thursday certainly won't help as they have just 3 days to prepare. Especially with guys like Freeney, Bethea, Mathis, Gonzalez, Brown, Vinatieri, and Foster all banged up and not practicing. It's looking like the majority of those guys won't play. But honestly, the fact that the starters may be on a short leash isn't really why I like this play, it's more insurance really then anything.

Maurice Jones Drew has really slowed down of late but if he is going to break out of his little slump this is going to be the game he does it in. He always seems to find a way to have a big game against the Colts, even back when he was splitting carries with Fred Taylor. Now he has free reign and I think with a couple defensive lineman missing his holes will probably be that much bigger and he can find some room to get into the open field. Garrard has done his job all year not turning it over a lot and throwing for yards when they need them. He won't throw many touchdowns but they will gladly inch down to the red zone where MJD can go to work. Although nobody inside or outside of Jacksonville seems to notice this team is in a heated playoff race and with a handful of teams in the hunt this is a must win at home on a national stage.

The Colts lately have been begging to lose a game. No team has been able to capitalize when they had the Colts in a prone position but I think the Jaguars will have the fire to do just that on Thursday. The 49ers, Patriots, Ravens, and Texans twice all had the Colts beat in the fourth quarter but couldn't seal the deal. The Titans couldn't convert a few early oppurtunities to put them in a good position late and the Broncos got 3 Peyton Manning INT's and 21 catches out of Brandon Marshall and still managed to lose by 12. This team is by no means the '07 Patriots and I don't think have what it takes to go perfect but I think they want the ring more then the perfect season. Thursday is the night they slip up. They will find themselves in a tight one late and a more conservative game plan early and the Jaguars have enough to get them the win.
    Jaguars 23, Colts 17

Everyone calling me an idiot for betting the Jags. I love it! Even if the Jags lose I still like my position more times then not.
