Indy -7 over Denver
My generally super-reliable secret stats have Indy as highly over-rated on defense, but they just keep on winning games and covering spreads. Colts seem to specialise in red-zone defense and Denver haven't excelled in punching it in.
Vikings -6.5 over Bengals
This is the Vikings ONLY home game in December. Figure they'll be pumped up to give their fans an Xmas present, while for Cincy it's a non-conference road game with their division all but won.
Jets -3 over Tampa
I have the Buccs down as a little under-rated, and the Jets defense wouldn't be turning any heads if it didn't have Buddy Ryan's name on it. However, New Jersey should be able to serve up a big running day and key on forcing promising-but-raw Josh Freeman into mistakes.
Buffalo -1 over Kansas City
Poor team beats very poor team. Look elsewhere for glamour.
Packers -4 over Bears
Green Bay should be able to master Cutler.
Saints -10 over Falcons
Very unlike me to side with a team giving up so many points, but I don't think anyone will have told Drew Brees and co that.
Seahawks + 6.5 over Houston
Teams named after birds on the road in December in non-conference games against expansion teams coached by former Denver players, who didn't make the playoffs the previous two seasons and who play in unforms at least partly red, with QBs who left the game injured the previous week in a loss of 3-15 points that didn't feature more than five turnovers, while a Democrat was in the White House...... are 32-1 against the spread. Easy!
Lions +13 over Ravens
Ravens won't be daunted (geddit?) by facing Detroit's backup QB. They still don't strike me as capable of a blowout, though.
Jaguars -2.5 over Dolphins
Heads Dolphins, tails Jaguars. But who carries coins these days? My secret file says the Jags are under-rated on offense.
Carolina +13 over New England
I'm not wild about an inexperienced QB and a warm-weather team heading Northeast with nothing to play for. Even so, can find reasons to suspect the cats won't be complete patsies.
St Louis +13 over Tennessee
Not a good spot for the Rams - a football field. However, the Titans are not the under-rated outfit they were a month ago and two TDs looks a stretch.
Oakland +1 over Washington
+1? So I win if it's a tie? Awesome!
Dallas -3 over San Diego
"The Chargers don't lose in December". Rules were made to be broken, and Jerry Jones still could get last-minute approval for that endzone shark tank.
Philadelphia -1 over NYG
I can't work the darned Giants out so I'll pick against them out of spite.

49ers not very good. Cardinals not bad. Me pick Cardinals. Picking games seems easy. Give me money, me buy wrestling magazine.
