Terrell Suggs worth $20 million guaranteed money?

According to the Baltimore Sun, Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs wants to sign an extension with the Ravens before he becomes one of the most sought-after free agents at the end of the season. Suggs could receive $20 million in guaranteed money in his next contract based on the current market.

Sounds to me like he is scared of getting hurt or having a down year. In a contract year, wouldn't you want to try and increase your value, then test the market? Either way, is he worth that $20 million in guaranteed money they are talking about?
