I'm ice cold right now but Pitt -10 is my best bet this week. Clev is lost. Pitt is the defending champ with their back against the wall big time. 10 is not enough.

Cleveland is arguable playing better ball than Pitt right now so I'm with cle +10. The SD cover was in garbage time for the record.

20-13 I don't think Pitt wins by more than a TD. This will be just like the Kansas City game where Pitt was 10.5 fav and loss SU by 3.

Pitt has more than double the total yardage in the last two meetings.(an eye popping 543 yards in the their last meeting about 6 weeks ago) Clev has 126 and 197 yards in total offense even in garbage time against Pitt.

Guys, I love a live home NFL dog as much as the next guy but this dog dont look like it will hunt. Probably just what Pitt needs. I look for a 28-10 type game similar to the last 2 meetings.

2 bets here. hoping to find pitt team total over 21, been sitting at 21 1/2. second play a two team teaser cleve + 17 1/2 under 40 1/2. would be tough to lose these both.

Cleveland and the over in a parlay if they let you. If Cleveland finds a way to score more than just 12 points, you will have a good chance to win this bet, and Pittsburgh can't stop anyone lately and hold them under 15 points, not Baltimore, not K.C, not even Oakland for christ sakes. Sure Cleveland is worse than Oakland, but they have been covering against some playoff teams in recent weeks, and this is a primetime game at home. Of course they're last time was against Baltimore in primetime, but that was when Anderson was playing I think. Since that Quinn dude has come back in the line up, they have been competitive in terms of scoring points and covering games.

Quinn couldn't even throw a pass in bounds against the Ravens a few weeks ago. Without Polamalu the Steelers have had problems defending against the deep pass, but with the wind expected to be high that's off the table. Wind favors PIT.

Anyway, do they have to play this game? Just give PIT the W and move on.

The Over/Under has come crashing down but the line has stayed the same. Steeler lines have been inflated all year. The weather is not going to be pleasant. I'm taking Cleveland and if they don't cover here I'm not taking them again for a long, long time.

OK, I checked the forecast, and the wind will be high, so it looks like blowing snow. Now I love the Cleveland +10 pick. Pittsburgh usually wins these crappy wheather games, but they are usually like 10 - 3 or something, and I think the wind affects the steelers more than the Clowns. The steelers passing game consist of Ben Frankenburger dropping back and waiting for his receivers to go down 20 yards for a pass, the Clowns are a more short passing team. Neither team has a superior running attack, so I count those as a wash. Still fro some reason, I will hold off until as late as possible for the under over tomorrow. It will have to be pretty nasty for me to take the under.

A couple of post back a poster noted that Quinn was playing in the Baltimore game, and I think your right, but since that time, they have actually put up some points, unlike earlier in the year.

Quinn had 3 TD's and no INT's against the Chargers while Pitt gave up 300 yds to the Raiders. But this game comes down to finishing the game. Pitt has consistently blown leads in the forth quarter. When I watched the Cle/SD game one thing I notice was how hard Cle played when the game was out of reach. They scored in the final minutes for the back door cover. They know they suck and this is the way to build character for your team and see who you want to keep around. What more can you ask from a dog?
NT Shaun Rogers being hurt is huge. Thats their run stopper, so Mendenhall will get plenty of touches. With that said and the weather I also like the under along with Cle +10.

wow people just keep on coming in with Brown bets. I mean I know pitt has been bad, but come on how many of these double digit spreads are they gonna lose to. If there was ever a time they needed a win in the worst way tomorrow is it. I would not touch the Browns with a 10 ft poll. In my eyes 17 pts are probably not even enough. Pitt will give no mercy in this game. I know some high school defenses that would give the Browns fits.

Fellas, what nobody is mentioning here is the Browns best play ... the kick-off and punt returns. And what do the Steelers suck dick at? Well most things, but covering kicks especially.

Cribs takes one to the house tonight ... the Browns cover the number and this one ends up in the high 30's - low 40'2 for the total.

I'm doin a 4 team teaser, taking Pitt +3, and Under 47. I don't see how it can go over that, with the nasty weather, I'm in Chicago, and the wind speeds are supposed to 10mph more than they are here, and it is BAD here.
