You guys can fantasize about team morale all you want. The fact is nobody knows who is going to "get up" or be "deflated" for this or ANY game. I live in Redskins' broadcast territory, and according to their beat writers the team is gelling and spirits are high right now. The locker room is believed to be united and focused. All signs in that sense point towards a team continuing to build on what they have done the past 3 weeks - on what Sherm Lewis has brought to the offensive play calling duties - and the thinking is they are ready to break through this week and get an elusive win. They are perceived to be on an upswing in all regards right now, at least by the people closest to them with supposedly objective viewpoints (i.e journalists).
I know that you can take that with a grain of salt. This area loves the Redskins, but believe me... they love to bury them as much as praise them. When things aren't good the reporters don't hesitate to fan those flames. That's not the case right now. It's quite the opposite from everything I'm reading and hearing.
Edit:
One more thing, does Pittsburgh's performance against Cleveland give any of you Raiders' backers the slightest pause to rethink your position?
