    Minnesota's abnormal consistency before tonight
I was looking for an impressive stat to cite (in comparing their performance tonight vs. their prior performance).

    Here's a good one:

The Vikings were averaging a ridiculous 31.1 points per game (2nd in the NFL) and 390 yards (5th).

    34, 27, 27, 30, 38, 33, 17*, 38, 27, 35, 36

*- the anomaly, in the loss to the Steelers

Even more impressive is the consistency. Every score but one fell within the 27-38 range. Unheard of in today's NFL.

Today? 10 points and 231 yards with only 7 minutes left.

I can't remember seeing a team so consistent with its point outputs.
