Going into this game I was leaning Pats and the over...after spending some serious time looking at this game and more importantly I think previous games of these two teams I have come to love the NE money line.
Really it comes down to one thing....past performances and strength of schedule...
I am a teacher by nature so I looked at this as a GPA type thing. Giving grades to each of the opponents faced and assinged a beyer speed type score to the Saints or Pats playing them. For instance, losing by a touchdown to Peyton Manning is worth more essential points than squeezing a win out against Saint Louis.
So here we go....
New Orleans Saints have played opponents who average BPA (BGBootha Point Average) was 2.04. Basically a C- Opponent.
New England Patriots have played opponents who average BPA was 2.6. Basically a C+ average opponent.
I dont' know if this transalted well to the post, but it made sense when I was really looking at this game.
