1) Ben could legitimately still play. In the event of a Dixon injury or a total FUBAR of a first half, we could be seeing Ben who is listed at 3rd on the depth chart behind Tyler Palko, who DOESN'T know the Steelers offense and could easily be skipped over for Ben in the event of an injury or FUBAR. Ben has PASSED all of his medical tests, and is only sitting as a precaution. Anyone who follows Ben knows what kind of player he is, and that come game time he WILL want to be on the field. What a feeling it would be to be sitting on the Super Bowl champions +300 when Tomlin decides that Ben is going to come in as early as the 2nd quarter.
2) The Steelers win games with their DEFENSE and their D is going to step up for this DIVISIONAL Rivalry. Their defense has been scoring a majority of their points this season, and their defense (aside from Polamalu) is in tact, with players like Ryan Clark, Lamar Woodley and James Harrison stepping up and making big plays. Their defense could very well win this game for them by pressuring the young Joe Flacco into making some mistakes.
