Both teams were pretty closely matched. however Brown isn't going to be playing..,The Dolphins running game will not be the same with just Williams (who has been decent) So This means new

The best aspect of the game in Carolina is that it is against a surging squad on the road without the top offensive threat. How is this the best aspect? This game is essentially a practice wild card game (I realize the Panthers are in the NFC, but they are a wild card caliber team) and should be played as a must win. If the phins win, it will mean Chad Henne played lights out and the supporting cast stepped up.
Delhomme has been playing with more control and the running game has been effective. The Panthers should carry on with their no-huddle offense. Bodog is currently at -3 (-130) as well. I'd actually like to see it go to 3.5 or 4 and get some reduced juice. I really feel like this game is going to be a solid showing by Carolina and their rushing attack has really hit it's stride lately and their offense has been balanced the last 2 weeks, which is a good thing for them when you don't force Delhomme to have to make plays with his arm. I know both J. Stewart and D. Williams are questionable, but I suspect both will be ready to go tonight. Plus Miami is still missing Anthony Fasano, another important part of their offense not available for the game. Panthers should cover this number, even if it does move another point.

Miami is the play here....Carolina can't stop run and Miami has fourth best rushing offense. Williams and White can hold up the Wildcat run game..Miami is not as hurt in the run game as the media is portraying with Brown out for the year. Miami knows this will be their unit and I see them stepping up here big as a loss will have playoff implications and may set the tone for the rest of the season due to Brown's injury. Carolina is ranked #25 in run defense this year. Sure, Carolina has a respectable pass defense...but Miami is not a pass-heavy team. Miami is gonna pound the run!

The wildcat worked for the Dolphins because Ronnie Brown made it work, he was a big back that was not afraid to go up the middle with the rock.
