Record is 6-2-1 Philadelphia Eagles vs San Diego Chargers NFL Week 10 Prediction
MY Record is 6-2-1 against and with the spread. I bet one game A week, I never bet spreads over 10, never a road team, getting 7 more points, never home
steam giving up 7 more points ...I work off a spread sheet, weather,Injures, Power Ratings,Defense and Offence Analyzes, Team Coaches Comparisons and what Team has Lot Players with Flu//lol just kidding on .. After doing a total Analyzes of all NFL Games for week 10 Game Day Sunday and My 2nd Loss Last Week... I studied A Little Harder and went through lot's of spread sheet's to come up with this game. So This is My Analyzes Of The Game??? and also I feel its best bet ,using my betting system
After Reviewing All The NFL Games this Sunday For Week #10

The fans at Qualcomm Stadium will be treated to a game between Donavon McNabb’s
Philadelphia Eagles and the San Diego Chargers when they take their seats on
Sunday at 4:15 PM ET. The Eagles trail the Cowboys by a game in the NFC
East and are tied with the Falcons for the Wildcard. San Diego is a game
behind the Broncos in the AFC West and is tied with the Steelers for the
Wildcard. Both need victories to try to keep pace for the playoffs, .. The combined
score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (50). Quarterback Donovan
McNabb threw for 227 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for
Philadelphia and LeSean McCoy rushed for 54 yards on 13 carries and Michael Vick
thinks he should be the starting quarterback. Vick feels the wildcat is below
him and he should be the starter there or elsewhere. So much for
    contrition.//

The Chargers bolted the Giants 21-20 as a 5-point underdog in Week 9. The
combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (48.5). Philip Rivers
threw for 209 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions for San
Diego, while Vincent Jackson snagged five passes for 58 yards with two
    touchdowns in the win.
The fact that the early action is pouring in on the under is somewhat
surprising, considering that both teams are ranked in the top-10 in scoring
(Philly 4th – 27.4 ppg; SD 10th – 25.8 ppg) and both teams have totally
abandoned the running game in favor of a pass-happy scheme on offense.
The Chargers rank dead-last 32nd in the league in rushing yards per game
(69.6 ypg), while Rivers and the receiving core have much better success
    chuckin’-n-duckin’ at a rate of 265.8 yards a game (7th). LaDainian Tomlinson
has been ineffective, and has actually been replaced by scat-back Darren
    Sproles in crunch-time situations.
The Eagles issues with the running game are more at the hands of head
coach Andy Reid and coordinator Marty Morningwhig, as in they seem to abandon
the run quickly and without remorse. The Eagles rank 17th in the league in
rushing (112.1 ypg), so they have had success even without Brian Westbrook
    in the lineup.
Either way, the increased load on Donovan McNabb and the offensive line
has taken its toll the last few weeks. The passing game is still successful
(226.4 ypg – 15th), but left tackle Jason Peters is banged up and guard
Shawn Andrews is already on IR, so it could be a long afternoon if they don’t
slow down the Chargers pass rush with more run-pass balance.
Defensively the Eagles will have the edge, at least on paper.
Philadelphia continues to utilize a blitz-happy scheme that brings more
defenders than the offense has blockers, putting the pressure on Rivers and
the Chargers offensive line to identify and account for everyone on every
play. As a whole they are 8th in points allowed (19.1 ppg) and 10th overall
    in yardage allowed (304.5 ypg).

The Chargers defense has picked it up the past few weeks, but they
continue to rank near the bottom in most of the defensive categories including the
most important category of them all, points allowed (22.4 ppg – 22nd).
Without tackle Jamal Williams taking up blocks in the middle the Chargers run
defense has been especially poor (130.1 ypg – 26th), but who knows if the
Eagles will try and take advantage of the weakness since they have their own
    issues along the line.

The Eagles won the last two meeting between these two teams, beating the
Chargers 20-17 in 2005 and 24-14 in 2001, but both of those games were
played on the East Coast in Philly. The last time they had to travel to the
other side of the states they were handed a 13-10 loss (in 1998).
In fact, San Diego is a perfect 3-0 SU against the Eagles in games played
at Qualcomm, while just 1-3 SU when in the City of Brotherly Love. And let’
s not forget the last time the Eagles traveled to California for a game,
they laid a huge turd in the form of a 13-9 loss at Oakland.
There is no apparent edge for bettors in this head-to-head series either,
as it is tied 3-3-1 ATS dating back to the 1985 season. The over/under
betting trends are also all over the board, with nothing of real value to glean
    from the mountain of data.

Running back LaDainian Tomlinson continued with just an awful
performance running the football with just 22 rushing yards on 12 carries this
season. Running back Darren Sproles can only average 3.5 yards a carry. That may
work against a struggling secondary against the Giants but Phillip Rivers
and the Eagles secondary and pass rush will test his passing attack. Rivers
is hitting on 60% of his passes this season with 14 touchdowns and only 6
    interceptions.
The San Diego Chargers defense played well allowing just 20

points to the Giants. The Chargers defense have only allowed 43 points over
the course of their past 3 games. The Philadelphia Eagles had another one of
those head scratching losses last week home to Dallas as the team fell
20-16. Donovan McNabb was only 53% accurate last week with just 1 touchdown
    and 2 interceptions.
The Eagles defense is smarting after allowing Tony Romo

to complete a 49yard touchdown pass late in the 4th quarter in a defeat.
The Eagles allowed Romo to pass for 282 yards last week and face a good
passing attack with weapons in Phillip Rivers and the Chargers. The Eagles last
trip to the west coast was not a good one as the Oakland Raiders defeated
Philadelphia 13-9. McNabb struggled through that road performance with a 22
of 46 passing performance. In that loss the Eagles were just 2 of 16 on
third downs. The Eagles were poor again against the Cowboys in third down
conversions going just 4 of 12.

While the Chargers have pulled within one game of Denver for the division
lead behind the passing game, their ground attack continues to stumble.
San Diego is averaging a league-low 3.1 yards per carry and is the only
team that has not rushed for 600 yards. LaDainian Tomlinson had 22 yards on
12 carries last Sunday and it appears more and more that his carries are
merely to set up the play-action passing game

Last week the Philadelphia Eagles lost 20-16 to the Cowboys. They have a
5-3 season record. The Eagles 2009 team leaders include; quarterback Donovan
McNabb completing 96 passes on 163 attempts for 1235 yards with 10
touchdowns, LeSean McCoy leads in rushing with 83 carries for 348 yards with two
touchdowns and DeSean Jackson leads in receiving with 26 receptions for 530
yards with four touchdowns. For the 2008 NFL betting season,
NOTES: Reid declared both wide receiver Kevin Curtis (knee) and linebackerAkeem Jordan (knee) out for Sunday's game. Left tackle Jason Peters
(ankle) did not practice all week, but will make the trip and is listed as
questionable. "He's making progress," Reid said. "The ankle is still a little
tender. But I'm waiting to see how he is." Peters will be a game-time
decision. If he cannot play, left guard Todd Herremans is expected to move outside
to tackle and be replaced by Nick Cole and Stacy Andrews.Kick returner Quintin Demps returned to practice Friday and will take over the kickoff
returns for Ellis Hobbs, who is on injured reserve.
NOTES Philly should get back two regulars who sat out the Dallas game due to injury, however, in strongside linebacker Chris Gocong (26 tackles, 1 sack) and end Victor Abiamiri (11 tackles, 1 sack).

NOTES Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Joselio Hanson was
suspended four games by the NFL on Wednesday for violating the league's drug
    policy.

MY PICK >>While the Eagles have shown in the past to be a strong bounce-back candidate, they've also had a history of coming up short in close games lately. Each of Philly's five wins this season have been by double digits, but the team is an alarming 1-8-1 over its past 10 contests decided by seven points or less. The Chargers are simply too talented to be blown out at home, and with a quarterback who's proven he can come through in crunch time and a Philadelphia defense that's banged up in several key spots, San Diego should have a good chance of extending its recent string of success

    San Diego -1 Against
    Philadelphia >>Chargers 23, Eagles 20

Like the pick, sir. I see a lot of problems with this Philly team, in particular that O-Line. San Diego played a great game in the Meadowlands last week and I think they are an easy TD+ winner here.

"Everyone in Philly wants Reid fired and McNabb traded. The national media finally sees how stupid Reid's game-managing is. The Eagles have been the most criticized winning team in the NFL this past week. This is exactly when the Eagles thrive. They're going to win a few games in a row. The critics will be silenced, and the fans will become believers again. But once they're expected to win again, they'll let everyone down."

from walterfootball.com He picks every game every week and has a very in depth write up about each. The guys good, has a 84-59-3 (+$6,295) record on the year. The Philly pick is a 5-unit selection for him this week which is equal to his biggest play. He's 19-10 on 4-5 unit plays this yr. I dont wanna go against Harry, last time i did, i lost. But Walter is usually money on these. With the RLM associated with this gm, i'm slightly leaning Philly.

I'm leaning the other way myself. I believe mcnabb has a big game and philla limits the big plays on defense and maybe gets a couple big to's but its more of a hunch on this one for me. But good luck if i don't play it.

Good write up.I agree with every point you made. But sadly I'm an Eagles fan. So I bet for them or not at all. This game falls into the not at all slot. The Birds are another one of those unpredictable teams {Raiders lose] They can certainly beat the chargers, but will they? Probably not. GL GO BIRDS!!

Mr. Hat, what a write-up! The Birds have been my fav. team forever, still root for them to win except would love to make some dough when they lose! Reid and McNabb are hard to root for? Only question, will the 2 Shawns both play?

Was going to pull the trigger early in the week until I saw who Riggs played on this one. Tailing this guy is like printing money! Your write-up is exactly to a tee how I see it. Sad to say, my record is 3-10! Once again, nice job here, you sold me on this one!

[QUOTE/] Each of Philly's five wins this season have been by double digits, but the team is an alarming 1-8-1 over its past 10 contests decided by seven points or less. The Chargers are simply too talented to be blown out at home, and with a quarterback who's proven he can come through in crunch time

                                                [/QUOTE]

It's true that Philly hasn't won close games but they blew out the Giants who San Diego beat by 1. So you can't say San Diego is too talented to get blown out.
