    Prairie Fire's Week 9 Plays and Write-Ups
    2 Team Tease (6 Point) (3 Units)
    Green Bay Packers -3.5
    Atlanta Falcons -4
Reasoning→ Similarly, Green Bay and Atlanta are playing terrible teams. Washington’s Defense is fairly good, however, there offense cannot put anything together. Atlanta should easily cover by 4. Green Bay plays terrible teams well. They beat the Rams by 19, Lions by 26 and the Browns by 28. Easily, Tampa is the worst team in the league.

    2 Team Tease (6 Point) (2 Units)
    Miami Dolphins +16.5
    New Orleans Saints -8
Reasoning→ Miami is finally beginning to click. They have won three of their last four games. However, this New England team is a different caliber than the Jets. I understand that New England is coming off of a bye, playing at Gillette, but I feel that they are due for a close/let down. I think that Miami will even cover the original spread at 10.5. As far as the Saints go, what needs to be said? They’re playing at home, on turf, with an electric crowd. Sounds similar to the 99’ Rams.

    Baltimore Ravens -3 (1 Unit)
Reasoning→ Baltimore has regained its stride with a dominating performance over Denver. Let’s not forget they barely lost to the Vikes on some Brett Favre magic. I feel that Flacco will be able to take advantage of a mediocre defense. Cincinnati is coming off of a DOMINATING performance against Chicago. However, it’s Cincinnati. They enjoy making the majority of their games interesting.
    San Francisco 49ers -4 (1 Unit)
Reasoning→ The Titans are the Titans of 2009. A team that everyone thought would turn around every week. They were bound to win a game somewhere. I mean they beat the Jags! My Rams even took the Jags to over time. San Fran played Indy tough and will come off of that game feeling good. Trust me, they will be prepared to play this week against a terrible Tennessee team.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals over 43.5 (1 Unit)
Reasoning→ Both teams have an offense that can light the scoreboard up. I already explained the Ravens offense. Palmer will find some holes in the Baltimore secondary and make this game high scoring.

    Good Luck all!

Yuck...i do not like ANY of those bets... for the sake of time, I'll just say that the Bengals beat the Ravens in Baltimore...theyre the ones that should be giving 3 points. The Titans defense is back intact, Alex Smith wont do jack squat on them. Miami was outplayed by the Jets pretty badly despite the win, and New England is back to blowing teams out. Tampa Bay is not the worst team in the league, although I still think GB will cover. Redskins have the potential to upset anyone with that D, and there's no reason the Panthers cant keep up with the Saints.

Hmm do you watch the National Football League? Last I checked the Redskins are a complete mess. Stripped their play calling abilities from Zorn with the aspirations that their offense lead by Cambell will find a spark. After allowing Drew to run all over them the Titans D is back intact?? They beat the Jags, why don't we crown them already. Smith is going to light up that poor secondary. The Bengals are a good team, but they do not consistently show up. One week they beat the BROWNS in OT and the next they beat the Bears by 30. New England is a good team, but they will not beat the Dolphins by 16.5. THe Dolphins are a GOOD team and will show up on this sunday.

Your teaser plays are poor based on the fact that they are not going through key numbers in almost every instance. Besides that, I think the Falcons and Saints will not cover either one of those teaser numbers by a point. I think the Bengals and Titans will both play very close games with a chance of winning.

Sure the Bengals went to OTagainst the Browns... but did you notice that every other team theyve played has a winning record and theyve still managed to get to 5-2... That is consistent enough for me. And even though the score was close in the last game they shut down Flacco and the Ravens running game in Bmore. Total were 403 to 257 Bengals...and now theyre underdogs at home? what a joke.

As for the Titans... sure they let MJD score two 80 yard TDs, and there's no excuse for that. But other than those two runs he did nothing and Garrard faced 3 different CB's than he did the first time around and he stunk it up. There is a chance for Gore to have success although the Titans have played the run very well in all except the last two games. But there is no way in hell Alex Smith lights up this secondary with Finnegan and Fuller back in.

                        Thanks for your opinions.
However, I believe that I moved the lines under certain key numbers 6, 7, 9, and 10. Each of the teasers have a high probability that they will cover -4, and -3.5. Just my thoughts. You make a valid point that the Bengals have played a tough schedule, I have followed them intently this year. However, I feel the Ravens are going to be ready to play.

You hit most of the key numbers, but 3 and 7 are more important than any of the others. That doesn't make you wrong, but I probably would avoid these teasers for the reasons cruncher mentioned.

                          Good luck!

                            Thanks for the input Indecent.
I just think that Green Bay is not going to let Tampa get even close to the number of 3. Atlanta slightly worries me at -4, but again it's Washington. Maybe I'll throw in another team to that one, just to be ultra safe. As far as New Orleans goes, they can easily cover -8 against Carolina, but again not having -7 covered on this one is slightly worrisome.
