    Danskeren's selections, week 8 - Writeups.
Three plays looks really good to me so far.

    Cardinals -9
    to win 400,-

    Jets -3
    -120 to win 400,-

    Giants +2
    Not played yet

    Cardinals -9:

I'm thrilled about this matchup. Cardinals are on a roll, and both the offense and defense are looking great.
They are comming of a win on the road against the G-men, and now they return to their home-field to take on the Panthers.

In my opinion the key in this game is the matchup between the Panthers rushing offense and the Cardinals rushing defense (1st). The Cardinals will shut down the Panthers running-game, which will force delhomme to throw - turnovers!

The cardinals rushing offense are the worst in the league, but i think they will be able to establish the run anyway facing a weak rushing defense.

Even though the Panthers passing defense are ranked best in the league (1st) i can't see the Cardinals having trouble throwing the ball on them. The Cardinals are the best passing offense the Panthers have played so far, and in previous games, the Falcons and cowboys had no problem throwing the ball on the Panthers.

Will post the other writeups soon.

I like the cardinals pick, good analysis too. Personally i have to be careful betting the Cards as it's my favorite team. Last week though I dropped $400 on ML for +260...pretty sweet. Panthers team really has been unimpressive all season, and Cards D - especially their D against the run - is key here. I think they're getting back into a rhythm. Tempted to take the spread and if I do a teaser I like including them.

Panthers are just terrible enough to easily lose by 9. But as far as Jets/Dolphins, Miami has been playing everyone hard, but losing in the end. I think they're just pissed enough at this point to take advantage of Sanchez and his quicksand-esque fortitude once things start going wrong.
