There is nothing tricky about this line at all. It is your standard NFL line when two teams of this calibe get together. It is one of 6 games that has a line of between 3 and 4 points. Minny is coming off a terrible game. Anyone want to guess where Farve's head was last week? Farve going home. The perfect Hollywood script for the Soap Opera King of the NFL. Farve lives for these moments. The line is slowly inching up. Minny is +160 to 165 on the ML in Vegas. Anything over +150 is excellent value.

#37Green Bay -3 is my pick of the week. Both teams are about equal in rushing offense and defense. Green Bay has been improving each week since the loss to Minnesota 4 weeks ago. Green Bay has the passing edge on both sides of the ball where they're 10th in offense and 4th in defensive passing. Rodgers did well in the 1st game even when he wasn't given much time to throw. I'm sure adjustments will be made to buy him more time.
Dom Capers 3-4 defense will be ready for Favre, just like against Cutler early in the season. Woodson and harris are still good corners. Green Bay has quietly gone 4-2, a win here and next week vs. Tampa puts them in a 1st place tie.
The Favre situation isn't swaying me one way or the other. Even if the Green Bay fans still cheer for Favre, that will stop 5 minutes into the game.
Bert will never be forgotten in Green Bay. Look for the Pack to turn the tables at home.Comment -

#38I wish the weather were gonna be worse, Favre cannot handle the cold. I think it's a good line, this one's gonna be fun.
P.S. The fans will NOT be cheering for Favre. The few that do will be heavily drowned out. The first pick he throws will make Lambeau rock.Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. #42I like Minnesota because I think they are the better team here. Minnesota should have won last week. Green Bay has to find a way to stop the running game and they had problems with that running game before.Comment -

#43Green Bay wins 28-21. Get on them and the over. If you can, bet your left lung and one kidney (your choice) on a teaser, GB +3 (some insurance just in case this goes to OT) and the over. If you are in a hole this year, here is your chance to get out.Comment -

#45Honestly what has Greenbay done to deserve 3 points? They didn't cover against the lions and beat up a Cleveland team that suffered with the flu all last week. Nothing on their offensive line has changed. Vikings have faced the better opposition all year and should have won against the steelers if they didn't shoot themelves in the foot. I think packer stadium will be crazy at first but soon will quiet down when Vikings start driving. Favre if anythign will feel at home. Playing on the same field he he spent his entire career.

#46the vikings are a more solid team--vikings d exposed the packers o line last game and the packers haven't done anything to change the outcome of this game. and the only reason farve came back to play for the vikings this year was to go to green bay and beat the piss out fo the packers. i think farve do what ever he needs to get the sweep. vikings with the points and little extra on the ml.Comment -

Also, it's pretty clear that you actually have no idea about the goings-on of the GB OL. Chad Clifton did not play last time (though not 100%, he did practice all week), Mark Tauscher and T.J. Lang will also be working in there (IIRC, Lang made his NFL debut in that game after Daryn Colledge, who was filling in at LT for Clifton, went out with a knee injury).Comment -

#53Can't help but agree. Its one or the other.Originally posted by MilfDrillerIt is abundantly clear.
You take the Vikes on the ML (+160) or you take the Pack on the spread (xyz).
This really is a great +160, tho. Not saying it's a winner, but I'd be more than happy to take it long-term.Comment -

#55i don't think the vikes deserve all the critizism, until they prove they're going to collapse I don't think you can expect them to today. it's not just about favre anymore, his team can carry him if need be. just don't seeing gb blowing them out and so 3pts is such a gift when the vikes have a chance to make this ugly.Comment -

#57I don't see how you can say Vikings have faced better competition. Both teams have blown out Detroit, Cleveland, and St louis. Minnesota squeaked by San Fran and Baltimore. Green Bay beat Chicago and lost a close one to Cincinnati, who came back and beat Pittsburgh earlier this season. In addition to my previous comments about the game, the last 2 games Minnesota has played were against 2 hard hitting teams. They are also missing their best cornerback.Originally posted by marabdl86Honestly what has Greenbay done to deserve 3 points? #59Vikings will be without Winfield again.
You really think bringing in Chad Clifton and a rotation at tackle is the answer for stopping Jared Allen and crew? Unless Rodgers has discovered over the last 3 weeks that he can't hold the ball forever in the pocket, Jared Allen is going to have a field day again.
