I believe WAS beat them twice last year. WAS is historically good as underdogs and bad as favorites I think too.

I'm from Philly like some of the other posters in this thread. I've seen Mcnabb look like a superstar one week and a complete bafoon the next. Drives us Eagles faithfull freakin crazy to put it lightly. Most often just when you want to form a possey and linch him he has a steller game and crushes the opponent. I rarely bet the birds. The head not the heart rule. But I'm a degen, it's Monday night, the Birds have more and better offensive tools then at any other time during the Reid era. Their D has certainly taken a large step back! Their O line is obviously piss poor! I still wouldn't take the Skins for anything less then 14. The Raiders are this years Bengles. After the tie with them last year the next start went to Kolb who lost to the Skins. I cant remember I if Mcnabb was injured or benched but the next Mcnabb start they spanked the Cards. Just a homers opinion so take it as such, but my money is on the Birds!!

This model always leans towards the favorites. That's why people like to use it. It just reinforces their natural tendency to bet favorites. The general public did a little better than that this week on their own for the same reason. Please don't put to much faith in this model.

Part of me say to bet on the bird, but the other part of me wants the foreskin. I might just lay low with the team and bet under one last time on a monday night. The high scoring monday night streak should stop here.

Is the sharp money on the skins?

It's pretty obvious right now that the public is all over Philly as the line was -6.5 and has jumped all the way to -8 in the last 24 hrs. I see sharp money going on the skins at home, but I personally would try to tease PHI if you can get the line back to -7.5 or -7 and tease it 6 pts to -1.5 or -1. This over/under almost seems like a suspicious total....but I am truly tempted to tease the over down to 31 or less if you can get it.

I took a small play on the Birds -9, mostly because I'm an Eagle fan. I worry about a few things, but a $20 play is worth it.

Reid usually has a good game plan after they come off a train wreck loss.

I don't believe in jinxes. But I did think the Eagles were a safe play, especially at the line that was available yesterday.

Game is far from over, but Redskins have been as inept as hoped. My only hope is that Reid doesn't get too conservative in the 2H and give up the cover.
