Jay Cutler may not have engineered the smoothest exit from Denver during the offseason, but as "McJayGate" unfolded, one thing seemed pretty certain: It was never about the money. But apparently the Bears were perfectly happy to give their new franchise quarterback a little extra scratch after watching him perform for just five games.
Good move by the Bears... I doubt he's gonna get worse... and if they have him through 2013, they have the opportunity to pick up some good receivers in due time and put together a solid team.
