Did pretty well this weekend. Went 7-4 in college with all plays even so I went up 15 units. I went 2-3 in the NFL but I had 10 units on NE and 5 units all the overs. So I broke even in the NFL. +15 units.

I'mma put something on Denver. I might take the ML. Orton is comfortable. Marshall loves his coach. Moreno is learning and becoming more confident. Buckhalter is a little banged up so he won't get in the way. And Denver's defense is way underrated. Dumervel is going to tear Rivers a new one!

The real question is, how much money did the books make on that Philly game? Imagine all the people that bet the Eagles spread, plus anyone that included them in teasers and parlays, thinking they were one of the best bets for the week...

I have had better days but in the end, I was down 4.5 units for the day. I"m still up 15.5 for the month on all my betting. Like justin said 10 steps forward 9 steps back.

Teasers and parlays were obliterated because the cornerstones were Giants and Eagles. Thank goodness for live betting to hedge and still come up a bit. It just seems like it's so much easier to cap college football than the NFL.

If I had played all plays for the same amount of Units I would have won but on a few plays that I stepped up the amount, I lost. This goes against everything I have learned about gambling.

yeah, i almost always stick to 2 units for my bets - putting 1 or even half unit down on "fun plays" and occasionally stepping up to 4 units for my strongest plays. Varying too much though will get you killed!
If you thought one play was a 10* and all your other picks were 3,4,5*...why not just put all the money on the best pick you have? And if you don't feel confident doing that, well then just put the same amount on each bet!
Figured that one out the hard way a long time ago.

It started Friday, hitting $500 on Pitt and $500 on the under to come out $99 to the good for the day. Saturday did nothing but pay a bunch of juice. Large bets on Utah St. and Idaho allowed me to finish $54 positive.
1 O'clock games basicly pushed, finishing down $45. I lost $1200 and change on the afternoon games. Decided it was better to cool off and skipped the night game. Have work to do this week.
