Wow, still no love for the Lions, 13 1/2? The Lions have played well this season. They don't seem to know how to close games, with the Minn and Chicago games being spread losses that shouldn't have been. I'm thinking the Lions 1st Half and for the whole game might be good value plays. thoughts?

    Lions are 2-3 ATS

They covered both spread at home.

This week they are on the road on the cold tundra...

I am on the Packers for whatever it is worth.

I'm trying to figure out why 65% of the public is on the Lions and the line has moved up 2.5 points in their favor. I took the Lions last week, and the Lions appeared to be the play to me on the surface, but something isn't right here.

Lions are undervalued. I like the 1H play as well as full game. Take those big points and gamble with the ML, the Packers are erratic enough to get bit in this game. BTW, the weather should be gorgeous at Lambeau. The Packers aren't special at home like they used to be.

Packers off bye week and hungry for win. Not a good spot for Lions.

The line looks a bit too big, since the Lions are playing much better than last year, and they could get a backdoor cover late in the 4th. But the Packers at Lambeau Field are a tough opponent to pretty much everybody. With the Packers coming off a bye week they will be well rested and hungry. If somebody put a gun by my head I'd say Lions but the best bet on this game is no bet at all. There are much better games to bet on, moving on.

I agree with you exactly Porky. Lions unpredictability scare me. I still feel Pitts is a better team than the Pack, though Pitts is definitely underperforming at the moment. Either way, Pitts could only cover 8 and the Lions had a drive at the end of the 4th which could have easily tied the game. (1st and goal from about the 20 - before being sacked 3 times in a row).

I ALMOST feel like teasing the lions to 20 1/2 since the only team to beat them by this margin is the bears (saints, vikes, steelers didn't cover this many). Still too scared to do so though.

Lions all the way, they have looked impressive this year compared to last year against some strong opponenets (Vikes, Bears, Saints, Steelers). And the Pack is not a strong team.

Calvin Johnson is iffy....the Lions are always iffy at best away from home! Green Bay has a TON of talent and they should get their O-line problems ironed out somewhat over the bye week! GB unloads on Detroit imo...something like 38-17!

That's awfully high of a line. I would ride the Lions on this one.

The more I look at this game...the more I like Over 47.5! The weather is supposed to be sunny/low 50s...so hopefully that won't be a problem! Detroit is 5-0 Over in their last 5 road games...last one they gave up 48 to Chicago with their ragtag group of receivers! GB has 2 top receivers in Donald Driver and Greg Jennings for starters...then 2 kids I really like that both scored a TD last week...Jordy Nelson at 3rd-4th WR and TE Finley who exploded for 128 yds last week as well! GB is also struggling somewhat with the switch to a 3-4 defense so Detroit should put up some points? Calvin Johnson's status could be huge here...if he can't go then I think GB is the play!

packers receivers against detroit secondary will be murder. also do not hinge your cap on one player, if it is that close then find value elsewhere. the over might be the right call. either way best of luck!
