And now, back to the Games......Winless NFL Teams in Week 5
Teams that are 0-4 straight up have gone 20-5 ATS in Week 5 since 2000. Makes sense since nobody wants to bet on these teams, making them undervalued. So let's take a look at 0-4 teams this week:

Browns +6 at Buffalo - This has a shot, although my confidence level is low. The offense looked better with Anderson at QB, but the Browns then turn around and trade Edwards. They say when in doubt, take, but for just a small pop here.

Chiefs +9 vs. Cowboys - Yes KC is 0-4, but Dallas is on a bye next week, fitting them into the 33-6 angle from last week (2-0 last week). I'd go with the better team here - Dallas

Rams +10 vs. Vikings - I like this one. Vikes are off of an emotional Monday Nighter, and they have the Ravens, Steelers and Packers (again) next.

Buccaneers +15 at Eagles - This looks tempting, but Andy Reid is at his best off of a bye. Pass

Titans +3.5 at Colts - Trend or no trend, hard to play against Peyton vs. this awful pass defense. The Titans still appear to be overrated, as this is the third straight week that they are "due" to win according to many. Don't like 'em, and I'm considering laying the Colts, as square as that sounds.

So out of the five teams that are 0-4, I only like Browns (weakly) and Rams.

Also, Cowboys are only team that fits the -6.5+ with bye coming angle.

I'm with you as far as thinking at least 1 team will end their streak this week, however the teams are so terrible, I refuse to get near them until they do. I'm thinking 1 team wins and 1 team covers. And if I had to guess, I'd say the Browns win (inconsistently bad, almost beat Bengals) and the Rams cover (11 point underdog at home against a team who prob isn't paying them much attention)

By the way, I really wish they wouldn't have a big green Reply button right above this box and a really tiny "post quick reply" underneath... this is the 2nd time typing this and many others

Finally LT is a believer in the MORRISON SYSTEM

Folks, go to the MORRISON THREAD to learn more about this angle and how to take full advantage of it.

Actually, I haven't paid attention to Morrison since he stopped inflating MLB prices in September. I came across the Zero Wins Angle here.

What do you think about Carolina at home, off a bye?
They are winless but only 0 -3.

            Thanks LT

              Thanks LT

They are also 0-3 ATS which qualifies them as a STEP ONE bet in the MORRISON SYSTEM.........

I like SKINS quite a bit. DelHomme has looked like shit vs. suspect defenses and the Washington defense is good. Can't lay points with Jake here, and Washington does better as an underdog than a favorite because most of their games are low scoring.

Oh christ... I was hoping fish had died by now. Go away, we don't want to chase with our whole bankroll and hope no team goes 0-7 a' la Lions '08, nor do we think it's a profitable system. That 67% NFL system stings a bit when each 3rd bet is 6 units and a prayer.

6 units to win 1 unit = mas tequila

But yeah, I'm taking Wash on a tease for +10.5 and wouldn't be surprised if they win outright... although I just couldn't bring myself to click that ML button.

                    Thank you,

I am confused about why Carolina is a favorite? I think I'll just stay away.
As far as Morrison system goes, I'll wait for a game to go to C bet, I don't trust that sh1t.

                    Thanks for the input.

Just use discipline and do not play the first leg of the system then.........that way you only make ONE double up play.

DISCIPLINE, HARD WORK, HAVING OPEN EARS, are some of the keys to winning in this business.

I want others to win as much as I do............if you knew me personally, you just might have a different perception of me.

That means I'd have to wait for a team to lose 5 straight and go 0-5 ATS, which would happen maybe once in a season, giving me + 1 or 2 units over a 15 week span. The Morrison (aka Martingale) system doesn't work with the NFL due to the game volume. If anything, he should switch to a fade/chase system and just play the same team all year, chasing the losses.

If I crossed my eyes, I'd have a different perception of you too.

                          Incorrect

You start when a team has lost 4 straight games, both SU and ATS............bet game 5, if it losses, double up on game 6.

Are you serious ? Washington is easily one of the worst teams in the NFL and shoudn't be favored to anybody when on the road. Carolina actually has talent, but nothing happens when you have a worthless QB at hand. They will win now at home, and will cover.
