I always find your picks and systems fascinating. The one that troubles me here is the thing about the Jets being 5-0 ATS at Miami. How much (if any) relevance can the result of a game between these two teams in 2004 or even 2005 have on Monday's match-up. Different coaches, different QBs, largely different rosters.Comment -

Giants-15.5 I will be playing this game regardless of the spread. I am waiting before game time so that I can see if some more feel Oakland has a chance. They are crazy. The Giants will cover this easy because 1) they are playing Oakland 2) they are the Giants 3) Oakland can't pass 4) Oakland rb's have a fumbling problem 5) Oakland is flying into New Jersey and it isn't sunny 6) Oakland has a overweight nose tackle for a QB 7) and they have the a top 3 defense against a team who has a propensity for turnovers.
And like Dex, said don't let the book scare you from taking a game. I had this game on my radar since earlier this week, and expecting the double digit spread.
Indy -4 Okay. This one is simple to me. I try not to over think games, especially in the NFL. It is what it is. Peyton vs Kerry. Hmmm? I won't even answer that. Peyton vs a weak secondary who is really suffering because Haynesworth really did matter to the Titans' defense. The Titans' don't have a number 1 or 2 receiver. I am not even going to say no more.
Phi/Tampa Under 42 I haven't decided on this one yet but it is starting to look like a nice pick to me. Donovan always show rust after an injury. Let's pray he doesn't get injured because Kolb would make this thing go over. Tampa is not as bad as every one thought. They will win some games. I see this being a 24-12 game. It isn't in bold yet because I will wait until game time for this one. I don't think anyone will be on this so I don't expect it to drop. Tampa will run a lot to keep the ball out of the rookie's hands. This will keep the Iggles off the field for half the game, and with Donovan under center I see a pick and maybe a fumble. Man those ribs still hurt and he won't be able to scramble. As if he does already. LMAO

I've notice that some week all of the RLM games cashed some other weeks RLM's games are not.
Yesterday I cashed two big ticket that has big RLM in CFB, Tennessee and Kentucky. I think this week is the week for RLM's games.
This is a week 5 in NFL and books been losing in the last few weeks, time for them to pull the carpet. Just pay extra caution when select an easy looking game, I just feel this gonna be a nasty Sunday for bettors.
Yesterday is the most profitable day for me in a long time....I mean in a really long time
(up 19units). So I will playing small to make sure my profit are lock-in.

i hear ya - these are 2 teams playing in the same division. they develop a rivalry over the years etc. its not only about the players, coaches. but also the front office of the organization - certain teams have an identity that is what it is regardless of who the players are. yes, in this instance the identity of the jets/dolphins has changed, but 5-0 does mean the last year, 2 years etc.....so many of these same players have the mental edge. i will only ever play a historical based on 4-1 or 5-0 the last 5 years.
can you dig deeper and look at more recent years with similar players? yes, but i dont bother as i feel it evens out.Comment -

Tampa Bay +16 The blowout could happen. But I see a lot of reasons it won't. McNabb came back to early. McNabb feeling Kolb breathing down his back so he will be pressing a bit. U know how he plays when he is shook: inaccurate, indecisive, and sensitive. Westbrook is always an if. Tampa Bay has now had 5 weeks of playing under their new OC. They are playing better. And they are better at quarterback because he can move, but I see the rush game being solid against a so-so rush defense. Tampa has a decent receiving corps for a couple of dumps under the d to move the chains a couple of times. I think 16 is beautiful in this situation. I think they can muster a TD and FG.
