    Monday Night Rivalry
Tonight has some serious implications for both Rodgers and Favre.

Either Favre exacts his revenge upon his old teammates, and once again shows everyone he still has it; or else the old man limps through the remainder of 2009.

Rodgers has a lot to prove too. The packers have been anticipating this showdown for a while now- as Rodgers implied at his recent press conference.

Regardless, this game is a major rivalry- a battle with a great deal at stake for both sides.

I have not made a definite choice yet but I am considering the following:

GB are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. NFC North.
MIN are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. NFC North.
Road team is 11-3 ATS in their last 14 meetings.

AP might simply rip Green Bay apart........

I believe I would make a small play on GB at +5.
GB at 180 moneyline is tempting as well.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Hey johnnyutah... good to see you back!

I believe it will be a close one. GB's D will try to shut down AP and make them rely on Favre.. which could be good or bad. I'm thinking bad, he will break down trying to play with too much emotion. I'm also tempted to play the ML, although would be a gamble. I think the game could go either way.

Min or no play. I don't see how putting money on a struggling GB D, inconsistent offense and going agaist Farve- who has been in this position many times- is a good idea. and, of course, AP is will slice through GB 23rd run D like butter.

Everybody may be looking into the Favre revenge factor too much here. After all the pregame stuff and hoopla surrounding this game is over both teams will calm down after the first few minutes and it will be your typical tough NFC north rivalry game. Its easy to buy into all the hype and bet with your emotions but Im looking at it as if it was just another MNF game and I would have to take the Packers and the 4.5 points here. I hope the line keeps going up, I can see a 21-17 type game here going either way. The game IMO comes down to containing Petterson, protecting Rogers so he can make some big plays with hopefully no costly turnovers. Thats just my take, I also backed the dang (no defense) San Diego Chargers last night and the points Good luck guys this should be one heck of game.
