    Week of the underdogs?
There are way too many teams at 0-3 and last week was mostly favorites doing what was expected. I'm thinking this time around, a couple of the dogs will wake up.

Mainly, I'm looking at a decent Raiders team at +9 vs the Texans?? And raising an eyebrow at Seahawks at +11 (vs Colts) and Lions +10 (vs Bears) ... i realize they aren't the greatest teams but +10 and 11 in an NFL game is pretty beastly. Maybe a 7 pnt tease to 17 and 18?

But my jaw hits the floor when I see Ravens at +2 vs Pats... get off Brady's meat already vegas. Possibly the best team in the country vs pure averageness?

    I'm on it.

with you on Raiders and Ravens, no strong opinion on Seahawks, Lions [though there's no way i'd back those faves]. i have Texans by 3, Ravens outright by 3. my biggest concern with Raiders is that they don't have the type of offense that you can count on to get you a backdoor cover (of course, on Monday, i felt great about the Panthers offense being able to get the backdoor, and we know how that worked out...). that said, Texans haven't shown they're the type of team to trust with 2 scores of chalk, and Asomugha is as good a match-up as there is to shut down Andre Johnson. agree that Pats getting way too much respect from the books, and NE solid win over Falcons last week only makes Ravens a better value this week.

Could be the case, Pap! I think the home underdogs are especially all worth a good look.

i live in houston and this texans team should not be giving 9 points to ANYONE in the nfl. the pass d of oakland combined with the trouble houston has had running the ball. it just doesnt look like the texans will cover....hell they might lose outright
