Some of you knew from the begining to fade my selections, but here is another warning to fade my selections. It's easy, just go the other way from my picks and collect.

How do have money to lose like this. If you're married you have to be on the brink of divorce.

Are we supposed to fade you????

Am I really losing anything with your scenario.

Really though you need to read the post to figure out how I'm really doing. Aside from freaking out on the First Monday with N.E, I'm not doing that bad yet.

Let me lay down the betting strategy that I learned from my 17 year old son a couple of years ago when I let him start betting as payment for hooking the computer up to bet at Pinny.

I can't pick winners, plain and simple, but I can pick losers. Hell I have that down pat. In order to make money, I study all week, make a good faith choice for the selections, then bet the other way from my choice. I put my choices up here, but go the other way. I call it Col. Klinking. The first couple of years, my kid did this and collected big time, now I do it also with some awesome results. I should have done this years ago.

You got it, I truely believe that these games will win. History on the other hand has proven me wrong, so I fade myself, or Col. Klink the plays. If your having trouble staying afloat year in and year out with your picks, and you constantly seem to lose money year after year, give it a try. Remember, if you keep doing the same thing while expecting a different result, you are insane.

                        How is this possible?
You put the bets in, then bet also against your original bets?
                        Aren't you just losing juice?

And, isn't there some physchological thing when you make your picks you are actually picking the opposite because you really like the other side???

                        Seems pretty bizarre.
But, I guess if my picks were that horrible, which they are, I would consider making the same statement.

I am making my picks, fading them, then looking at your picks, fading them, then coming up with the best picks.

I'm not really making the bets that are listed, but goin the other way when I actually bet. I put the original bet that I did like up because that is the play that I like. Of course this week would have me going 5 - 2 so I lost money. I guess even I can have a good day handicapping games every once in a while. All you need to know is a loss is a win and a win is a loss on my spreadsheet. The actual amounts are a little off due to different vigs paid at Pinny, but it isn't that far from the actual amount, except a negative balance is good, and a positive balance is bad.

Your right about the psychology thing, it really hurts when a play wins and I went the other way, but I have to get over the emotions and go on with what works. I've been taking records for about 5 years, and in the end, I lose more than I win in terms of games played, so it isn't just a vig thing.
