I'm Cris, 26 years old from Romania, Europe and I'm a big fan of American Football and I occasionally put some money down when I have a strong feeling about the match-ups. Last week I bet 50 $ to win 500 $ on CHI, ARI, ATL and NO to win (played them straight without handicap) and got lucky
) (when I saw the recap on nfl.com I realised how lucky I was with the Bears win over the Steelers ) )
I want to play 4 Match-ups this week but with handicap in order to get the "rating" of 1.85 per match-up so a total of 11.71 per ticket ( bet 50$ win 500$ )
For this week I was think of the following match-ups:
- 4 HOUSTON vs JACKSONVILLE
+ 2.5 TENNESSEE vs NY JETS
- 4 PITTSBURGH vs CINCINNATI
+ 7 SAN FRANCISCO vs MINNESOTA (this game worries me a bit, but after reading your post here it seems that choosing the 49ers would be the correct choice)
Can I have your advice on my picks and also if you feel strongly about other match-ups or if you have other "locks" pls let me know. You guys been the experts on American Football should know better then an amateur like myself
Also considering about playing another ticket also of 4 match-ups but on OVER-UNDER (same rating of 1.85 per match-up), and for this I've considered the following:
TENNESSEE vs NY JETS --> UNDER 37
SAN FRANCISCO vs MINNESOTA --> UNDER 39.5
NEW ORLEANS vs BUFFALO --> OVER 52 ( isn't 52 a bit too much ? I mean NO has a high scoring offense, but still .... 52 it's 52 ... cand the put up + 30 or 35 points every game ? and also have a weak defense so that the other team scores as well ? asking because I don't know the teams like you guys do, and to me 52 seems a bit too much. But as I red so far most here consider this a good pick)
INDIANAPOLIS vs ARIZONA --> OVER 48
