Neither team has convinced me that they are a solid road team. GB was only leading by 6 points to the Rams who lost 35-0 yesterday to the 49ers before scoreing 13 unanswered in the 4th quarter. I am not looking to right up anything big on this game but I think this game not being in GB (notice I didn't say because the game is in Minn) and the pressure on both the run game and the pass game by the Minn. defense will be the deciding factor in this game.

I really like what I am seeing. Home field advantage and receiving the ball at half will be key. O and D lines are all on the Vikings side and the beat up GB secondary is getting beat by the speed of the vikes receivers. Look for Farve to hit one of his 40+ yard touchdowns in the second half. Also Peterson looks a little beat up after that fumble but I have plenty of confidence in Chester Taylor to step in. Go ahead and do it Vikes.

I am looking for the Broncos D to continue their dominance. After watching the Cowboys vs. Broncos game I have to think again about my opinion about the Broncos. Broncos D will take it to a Patriots offense that is carried by a Tom Brady who has not looked like he has the confidence to step into his throws after last season. He has not been a top 3 quarterback yet this season and I dont think the Broncos D lets him look like it this week. The Broncos will play typical Denver ball and run run run the ball. Buckhalter being hurt is a disadvantage in my mind but will give the rookie Moreno the opportunity to come out and try to prove himself. In the Patriots one road game this year against the stout defense of the New York Jets the Patriots struggled to put up points (9). I think the Broncos should mimic the Jets game plan and play smash mouth football only asking Orton for minimal work and not to turn the ball over. I look to watch the clock tick away in a low scoring close game with the Broncos coming out on top.
Side note - It doesn't hurt the Broncos chances that their Head Coach, Josh McDanials has spent the last 8 years on the Patriots coaching staff with the last three seasons as the Off Coordinator.Comment -

Bet on the Mannings. People may say its an amateur betting move and just a people's pick but guess what...I am an amateur and it is a peoples pick and I have been tailing and cashing with the Manning's all season. I don't see it stopping here. Peyton has been slinging the ball all season. The Colts love to jump out to early leads and that is exactly what kills the Titans. Take the ball out of Chris Johnson's hand by forcing them to fight from behind. Kerry Collins can pick apart a defense if he has time and his receivers can get open. I don't think Freeney and Mathis are going to let this happen. Get up early and let these men T it up. Too much offense for the Titans to hang with. Probably my favorite pick of the week.Comment -

Both these teams have looked like absolute shit all season long. Battle of who comes out and is not as bad as the other team. I like Washington with points in this one. I have had the opportunity to watch each of these teams a couple times and haven't liked what I have seen from either. I think the advantage is going to the Washington defense. I think they play hard defense and can shut down the run with Haynesworth anchoring the defensive line, while they have speed in their corners to stay with the Carolina wide receivers. Steve Smith is yet to show his face this season and look for the pattern to continue. If Cooley can continue to get open while Washington stops turning the ball over in key situations we should be good with this play. Jags ML (+105) risking 2 units
I am surprised this pick hasn't stuck out to me until now. I have not been on the whole Seattle is a much improved team train this year and I am glad I haven't been. Hasselback is returning to action but I am sure the man is still beat up and the team has to now switch the mindset of play back to a pocket passer from a mobile quarterback. I believe the offense struggles against the Jags D. The Jags offense has come alive the past couple weeks putting up over 30 each week. Garrard is one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league. He doesn't put the ball in the hands of defenders. Sims-Walker looks to continue his success. I don't think MJD has had the success he is capable off and with Seattle's linebackers I dont believe he will today. He will do just enough and Garrard will carry the team with his arm. I am looking for the Jags to win this game by more than a touchdown.

I don't like the fact that I have seen a ton of people on this pick, but I have to agree with them. The cards have struggled when team they play have good DE's and pressure Warner. Mario Williams has really developed and looks like that No. 1 overall pick he was. I think he will have a field day in Arizona and be in Warner's mind all day. The offense just hasn't looked like the unstoppable force it was last year and I like Houston to out shoot the Cards in this game. The cards dont have enough defense to shut down the potent offense of the Texans and Andre Johnson. I think the Texans have the opportunity to win this game outright.
