    $$$ Monday Night Football $$$ (RARE WRITE UP)
    Mark Sanchez gets the nod for the Monday night game against the Ravens... Mark hasnt seen a defense like this since... well since never! You can bet your ass that at this very second, He is thinkin about Ray Lewis! He is wishing and praying that somehow, Ray Lewis gets the swine flu, chicken pox, hang nail, ect.

    **** You can bet your WIFE's ass that Ray Lewis is thinkin about Sanchez at this very moment as well... he is foaming at the mouth waiting to officially welcome him into the NFL!!!

    **** NY Jets gave up 23 points to a lousy St. Louis team their last game... and I think it's safe to say that the Baltimore offense is, at least, as good as St. Louis' offense ( I think they are 10x better but I dont have the stats with me right now to prove that )
    **** Bottom Line... Baltimore lives off of their defense... Hell, the Ravens' D may score more points than the Jets Offense!!! Look for Ed Reed to be Sanchez's leading receiver !!

                  jets former d co-ord gets his former team.. why do you think they tanked at home to st. louis last game of all people... 90% of people on the ravens spread,moneyline and parlay bet... this game means nothing to balt and something for a new jets coach.. jets +3 small

                      If this were the regular season I may agree with you, but being preseason I just don't get a feel for this one. I might play something small just so I have something on the game though.

                                              I don't know, I see some value in the Jets ML @ +146. I took a small 1 unit wager there. I just don't see why the Ravens need to show up, and so much on the line for the Jets and Sanchez to come out flying.

                                              Once Sanchez is out, Clemens still thinks he has a shot at a starting job, so he will show up as well. You don't think Rex Ryan has something to prove against his old team.

                                              I think you are looking at this game without your Preseason goggles on. If this were a regular season game.

                                                  I hate the NFL pre-season.

                                                  Why? Well for one...look at Z's write up. He makes the supposition that Lewis is going to be playing a lot. That rarely happens...especially with veteran players. NFL coaches use these games to develop the back ups, and it wouldn't make much sense to play Lewis (or Ed Reed) for more than a quarter or quarter and a half.

                                                      Jets +145 is not a bad play here. I would never play ML favorites in preseason and I rarely even play favorites ATS. The time to bet favorites is Week 3, not this week.

                                                          The over 7 for first quarter looks attractive to me. Flacco is suppose to try the long balls while he is in and Sanchez is going to try to go down and score on a ravens D

                                                              you will find out that the ravens 'first unit' plans on playing minimum a quarter and a half. and thats enough to send sanchez a reality check.

                                                              remember a qb from detroit who as of 3 days ago they thought would save the season, got his nod at starter and realised that starting at qb in the nfl is a whole new ball game?

                                                              Two starting offensive linemen will be out (RT Damien Woody) and (LG Alan Faneca.

                                                              go to the ravens website, click on willis mcgahee's interview before the game and tell me if you think the ravens will show up.

                                                              and for the record, ainge is goign to be the jets qb the majority of the second half, and even panzerotti [could care less what his name is] is going to play a series in the 4th . so you are placing your entire jets wager on a rookie starting qb against an amazing defensive unit at home .
