Newton never wants to practice, this will be a train wreck. Remember Belichick signed trouble maker Michael Bennett last year? How did that work out? They cut him mid-season.

Can will have his chance to prove he can still be a winner or show is washed up mentally and / or physically. It is a smart contract for both sides. Patriots pay mainly on incentives. Cam has every reason financially to perform. This is a great opportunity for him to be great. That is, if he can be. He will need to have a burning fire inside of him and every second of every minute with the Patriots will reveal to Coach B very early, maybe within a week or two of training, if this is gonna work. The Patriots ave given you the best chance of your life in football right now a Don't F it up.

IT's all in the Pat's favor. Mostly incentive laden one year deal. If it don't work out, see you later, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If he can't memorize the complex playbook he will be sitting so yes good for Pats.
