I'm older than most here so I remember the days of Pete Rozelle and the NFL notion of "On any given Sunday".
Not this year, my friends. There is no parity. The good teams are great, the bad teams suck, and the average teams suck as well (but maybe a little less).
This concept about how the bookmakers know that average joe's like favorites so they'll jack the line a bit and create some value with the underdog.......that's not the case any more.
This has been a great year for 'squares' and a very bad one for the so-called 'sharps'. Tonight's Bears/KC game is a perfect example. A drunk 10-year-old would know to bet KC, but someway or another so-called sharps were putting their money of Trubisky/Nagy/da Bears! WTF???!!!
OUCH!
