Urgent: Please help me hedge my bet!!!
I have this parlay pending that only needs the Chicago Bears to WIN (ML bet) against the KC Chiefs. If the Bears win then that $5.00 parlay will return $210.00

In my “bank” or available funds, I currently have $265.00, so my question is this:

With the $265.00 in my available balance, WHAT WOULD BE THE SMARTEST WAY TO HEDGE AGAINST MY PARLAY BET, in the (very likely) case that the Chiefs WIN the game?

Sorry. I’m pretty new at playing parlays and hedging. Anybody’s assistance would be so GREATLY APPRECIATED!

    Thanks everyone ahead of time.

Even though this is the last thing I need to hit though? If the Bears lose, then I’ll just have let that $210.00 potential winnings go to waste. I’m just wondering if there’s a way to hedge it to make sure I win at least about half of that $210.00

That’s what sucks about playing dogs as last legs of parlays — impossible to get out and it better be right

Or they get up early and you hedge out but that’s hindsight / luck

play it live betting hedge if u can doesnt matter if its only 5 bucks u stand to win much more so hedge when u can hopefully bears score first for u then u can bet chiefs depending on how much u want to win/lose, if u do half you can win half of that 265 maybe can even middle if u bet the points instead of the ml

Times like these if I had $5 to win $210 on the bears I would prob just blast the spread & sprinkle ml and jack the risk up to $1000 lol

            Is that good advice ?

Don't make bets that you want to hedge out later.

People doing this professionally? I agree (of course these folks probably aren't playing parlays anyway). A guy that throws $5 on a 7 leg parlay for fun and stands to win $500? I say hedge if you can for decent money. OP probably lost since CHI got killed from the start and he was in a bad position with a big under dog on the ML - probably would have cost -250 to hedge I'm guessing?

I probably would have hedged in this instance since there was no way in hell CHI was going to win. Of course, I never would have made the bet on CHI in the first place - points of ML. KC -6 (early number, I think it was closer to -7 at kickoff) was one of the easiest plays on the board this week.
