Former Buffalonian here. Based on experience with Buffalo sports teams - they probably blow a lead and lose on last minute field goal or something.

That was one awful spot on the Pats' 4th down play at 7-3. Was at least a half-yard short, but Bills didn't challenge. I'm guessing they wouldn't have overturned it based on not being able to see the ball, but he was way short.

One the biggest faults of these refs are spotting the football. The last series for Houston today, the guy had the spot wrong by a full yard.

to add insult to injury, if you watch the 3rd down play, they actually gave them 1/2 yard better spot on that one too. It should have been closer to 4th and 2, not 4th and 1.
