Godwin is unlikely to play in Week 16. That means Breshad Perriman is the Bucs WR to play.

DET - QB Matthew Stafford's season comes to an end

    Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back, hip) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Dec. 17.

Finally. The Lions waited for a long time to shut Stafford down for the year. Signed through the 2022 season, Stafford will be back as their leader once again next season. Stafford has QB1 upside anytime he's out there.

NYG - TE Evan Engram lands on IR

    Source: Giants.com - Michael Eisen

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Dec. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Engram is a fine tight end when he's healthy, but he's never played a full 16-game season in his pro career. Fantasy GMs will be excited about the future of this Giants offense and Engram will be drafted as a TE1 in 2019.

CIN - WR A.J. Green update on ankle

    Source: Bengals.com - Geoff Hobson

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) is not expected to play in either of the final two games of the season, but his recent visit with Dr. Robert Anderson reportedly went well. Anderson informed Green that he can have a normal offseason of training and the injury won't prevent him from continuing his career.'I would have been better off breaking (the ankle). ... It's finally turned the corner. It's been feeling better and better each week. There were no (recent) setbacks. The plan was to go up there (to meet Anderson). He liked the way it looked. He said it's only a matter of time. It's not (ready) to play a game, but he was like, it's a good thing I didn't rush this thing. (Anderson) said the biggest thing for me is to get my range of motion back. Most of it is back. It will take time as I keep running routes and keep doing (rehab) stuff,' Green said.

It's good news for Green but not good news for Fantasy GMs who held onto him this season just hoping he would be back in time for the fantasy playoffs. Green is set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2020, and it will be interesting to see what kind of market there is for his services.

TB - Tampa Bay to involve RBs more in Week 16?

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Michael David Smith

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RBs Ronald Jones, Peyton Barber and Dare Ogunbowale are expected to take on a bigger role in the passing game than usual in Week 16 versus the Houston Texans with the team being ravaged by hamstring injuries to its receiving corps.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs aren't going to count on Bucs RBs in the championship round. Perhaps Jones would be a 'what the heck' flex but that's about it.

TB - QB Jameis Winston limited Tuesday

Source: Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston (thumb) did not throw during the open portion of practice Tuesday, Dec. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Winston was limited last week in practice but started and put up monster stats in Week 15. We should see him limited this week too.

PIT - WR JuJu Smith-Schuster has optimism

    Source: DKPittsburghSports.com - Dale Lolley

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) will remain questionable for Week 16, but head coach Mike Tomlin says he feels better about him.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Steelers want to get him out there if they can. Smith-Schuster was limited in practice last week but did not play. We'll see if things can shake out differently this week.
