    Andrew Luck to Retire
You heard it here first, from someone who gets this kind of information first. Rumor control says that Indy QB Andrew Luck will retire from football tomorrow. He has had it with the injures.

I think they'll be $50 mil under the cap without Luck or something insane like that. GB has drafted like shit for years and doesn't have much around Rodgers. What if the Colts gave them 4 1st rounders and that stud LB. Something like that? Probably a pipe dream, but GB isn't doing any better then 7-9 this year.

One interesting thing though....Chip Kelly is now the 2nd string QB. You don't see too many QBs go into Alabama and spank them. He's got alot of talent!

how will it affect indy and andrew luck financially?

did luck earn his signing bonus at the same rate that the colts salary capped it?.. is he getting some sort of insurance payout?

Holy shit. Colts and Luck were so hyped up for the coming year. This was supposed to be maybe his MVP year. Insane. He must be in pretty bad shape

I'm in Indy. He was just running drills on the field b4 the game last week. Laughing and moving around well. The local media was saying he might miss 1-2 games at most.

The thing I don't get is this.....he could play like Peyton did at the end. The Colts have a great O-line. Run the ball. Throw quick passes like Brady and just turtle up like Peyton if the rush gets on you. They could go atleast 9-7 or 10-6 and contend for the division

If you play like that of course you're going to get injured a lot. Brady and Peyton protected themselves. Peyton would just slide down if someone got too close to him. Luck wanted to go ahead in the fight. I guess he saw himself as a leader who wanted to inspire, but he never really was. The way he walks away now, right before the season, with everyone counting on him .... That's how he really should be remembered. As scared (of more pain). But America is kind that way.
