My money was on the Saints and the Under, so there was no real money changing hands, but I will say this. The Saints were the better team. The Saints should have won the game.

But terrible calls that affect game outcomes, and ultimately season outcomes, happen weekly. This latest one just happens to garner greater scrutiny because there were more eyes on it. It was clearly not a "blown call" either. Zebras knew what they were doing, huddled together to discuss after play while watching replay on big screen. They could have reversed with knowledge that they're was a penalty, yet let it stand.

Who's making excuses? I'm saying they're terrible week in and week out. Today's terrible call(s) was not an aberration. The league obviously doesn't care, and fans, although momentarily displeased, won't be boycotting the games anytime soon so there's no pressing need for the league to make any radical changes. They will continue to trot out officials that can't see their own hands in front of their faces.

Absolutely horrible call but LA outgained them 378-290. LA also had the ball inside the 1 and kicked a fg for some reason? CJ Anderson is a beast in short yardage! The Rams are the most talented team in the NFL. They bought most of the guys and that usually never works in the NFL, but they have the most talent!

Saints lost that game. Only getting two field goals in this first two drives isn't the refs fault it's their fault. They got the ball first in OT and Bree's makes a terrible decision and throw isn't the refs fault.

this i can see. But I think it's dumb to do what the NBA does and they can only go review in the final two minutes. That devalues everything happening before. If we start reviewing PI are we going to start reviewing holding(both offense and defense)? Face masks? False starts? Delay of game calls?

Why is a PI(or any penalty) in the final two minutes so much more important than one at the 5 minute mark that could've put the game out of reach?
