CFL numbers 3 and 7 not so key?
This is my first year capping cfl. I was wondering peoples thoughts on buying points in cfl and with teasing teams. So far this year I got beat by the rogue point(or whatever the f*$% they call it) I had teased a game to -2.5 and thought I was golden when a field goal attempt missed as time expired but they didn't return it out of endzone and final score 19-17 not 19-16!

So I have noticed at least 2 rogue points, some questionable kicking, and odd scores in games so far. Do the key numbers 3 and 7 get affected much from past cfl experience. Does this hurt wong teasers through 3's and 7's and buying points off 3 and 7(i don't buy off 7 as often as 3)?

Any thoughts would be appreciated? Thanks for your time.

Ah the rouge (as in red in French)!

The rouge drives me crazy as well...

"Oh nice try on that FG attempt! You missed but... 1 point for you!"

That was a tough game bud, unlucky!

Your assessment is correct. 3's and 7's are not nearly as valuable in the CFL. They're still the most important numbers, but there is no value in teasing or buying points in the CFL.

Yeah it was Edmonton-winnipeg game. I came out of it about even cause I had Winnipeg 2nd half +4.5(+11.5game) I would have like to have hit both but not a complete loss on game.

Anyone else have opinions on teasing and point buying in cfl?

All you need to know is that most shops charge the customary 10 cents to buy off of the 3 and 7 in CFL, the same price as any other number. That right there tells you they are not as key as the 3 (25 cents) and the 7 (15 cents) in NFL.

You have an edge blindly buying on and off of the 3 if that is the case, with buying on being preferable.
