Sources are saying that Art Shell will be fired after the season.

I'm sorry but I can't see this happening after only 1 year. I feel maybe we will see everyone coach on that staff being fire accept for Shell.

I disagree with that Doc.

This is the same man that did make it to the Super bowl in the 21st century with that 1960's style football of his. In fact, more teams pass the ball nowadays opposed to running it.

I dont think anyone could produce with that team of players. They have no solid quarterback, and Moss bailed on them in like week 2 or 3. Not to mention what Jerry Porter did to start the season.

Art Shell should get a few years to put something together.

Walters is borderline between shit and shit...Aaron Brooks is worst than Walters so what does that tell you..i really dislike this guy..im a DIE HARD SAINTS FAN and we are all so happy down here in Louisiana that Brooks is gone..thats all ole' Art Shell has to do...get rid of that idiot Brooks and get it going from there...were feeling the coolBREES down here....if Art doesnt make a move with the qb situation..the owner will make a move with Art.....

When you hire assistant coaches that haven't coached in 12 years your bound to have a looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnng season though.

Shell needs to re-tool that whole coaching staff, and weed out the problem players in old school Raiders fashion.

Shell needs to be fired. But, having said that, not much will change as long as Al Davis is owner-GM-coach. But to Shell's credit, he did not have a QB, or a RB, or a WR other than Moss who does not give 100%. Not much any coach can do with a bad team. But I dont think Shell would be successful, even if he was surrounded by a good team.

Davis needs to do like Jerry Jones did and hire a football guy and let him coach the team. Jones used to be heavily involved in suggesting plays, etc., but now he backs off more and lets Parcells run the ship. Al Davis needs to do the same.
