Also watch the damn lines and how they move throughout the week and pay attention to what I said about where it opened and key numbers. Think outside the box, have a contrarian mindset and most of all don't be afraid to fade yourself.

Ex if you really love the over 50 of a game and can't see it going under but 70% of the tickets are on the over and lines moving down to 49 (and your scared of flipping sides) just fade yourself - easy $

Last thing: this is all to confirm that you're on at least the right side of a bet. You do need to know the sport and be able to predict who's the better team. This just helps narrow down things to the best possible options. vegas casinos limit your bets relative to their average customer... i think online books are a bit more aggressive and it's much easier to get to know customer and their betting patterns.
