If you are looking to bet only a couple of games this weekend and want to beat the house badly and are willing to roll out a few big bills for easy returns, then here you go. As a gambling man, I do not typically believe in putting it all on the line. As a rule of thumb, I like to put an equal amount on each game. But that strategy is a high-volume strategy where a bettor wagers on a high amount of games.
If you want to fool around for fun, then fine(bet on fun match-ups for small bills). But if you want to be efficient and cut straight to the chase, here are the games to win big on.
If you have $200 to invest, put $100 on each game. If you have more money to spare, half of it on each game. 1st game will net you $91. 2nd game will net you $130. So $200 to win $221. (this is not a parlay)
NCAA Football Saturday: 1 play
12 PM- Oklahoma at Iowa State. Take Iowa State here with the points. +18.5
Oklahoma's offense looked extremely explosive last week, yet they could not cover the lofty spread against UCLA. UCLA has a very weak defense overall, especially in their secondary. Iowa State's defense will not get manhandled to nearly the same degree. Oklahoma is going to have a tough time in this tough road game. Iowa State has a great running back who will most likely not be shut down 2 weeks in a row. Look for a possible chance of upset, but just be happy to have all these points in your favor.
NFL Football Sunday: 1 play
1 PM- Dolphins at Jets. Take the Dolphins here on the moneyline. +130
The public is drooling over the Jets' current value based on their 48-17 thrashing of Detroit. The Dolphins are an underrated team with an above average defense who like to play in possession battles. The Jets will simply not be able to throw all over the field like they did in week 1 and their defense will not be able to contain the running game here because Miami has deep threat options downfield so New York must put less men in the box. Tannehill, who is far from being a stud, yet is a steady, non risky player who will bring on an effective conservative approach.
