Greetings! I have been handicapping NFL for over a decade and will be posting my picks and analytical write ups (in some cases where I have time).

All picks will be documented and against the spread. I will typically choose between 3-5 games each week.

bump. feel confident with ATL+2 for my first pick of the season. Too many injuries on the offense side of the ball for the eagles, plus linebacker Bradham suspension is a big loss for the eagles. Let's go!

Well, a sucky way to begin the season. Atlanta was by far the superior team although the results say differently. I won't get into the recap too much. The fact is Atlanta was inside the 6 yard line on three separate occasions and only came away with 3 points. That says it all!

Well, a pretty nice Sunday as I went 3-1 ATS. With the Vikings, Browns, and Panthers covering, while the Cardinals did not.

Add in the unfortunate Atlanta loss on TNF and I am closing out Week 1 with a 3-2 ATS RECORD.

At this point I don't have a pick on SNF nor MNF, so I'll be back for week 2 TNF!

I'm undecided on this week's TNF match, but will certainly have a full card for Sunday, as there's a few games I like already.

Will catch up with everyone before the Thursday Night game.

An unpleasant 3-3 Sunday. I thought the Raiders should have covered and that was really unfortunate. Even the Chargers had a chance a covering. They were on the 13 yard line of the Rams with less than 4 minutes remaining and could not capitalize. A TD would have gotten them within 7 points at that point.

So I am 9-8 (53%) ATS going into MNF.

I really like the Steelers to put an all around good game together and beat the Bucs in Tampa. Good veteran teams can put all the bs behind them and find a way to win.

I wanted to post this now so some of you guys can take advantage of TNF early.

pick: Minnesota +6.5 over LA Rams.

I anticipate by game time itll be at +5 or so. Therefore I'm locking in Minnesota +6.5 on TNF.

I posted my play on Monday thinking the spread would go down due to sharp action. That obviously did not happen, however I'm still confident in 6.5, although 7 is obviously better.

Solid week 4 as I went 3-1-1. In case you're wondering how I got Denver at +4.5, that's because the spread was posted Saturday and was at 4.5 at that time. So we got the benefit of the W there, while pushing on Oakland at -3 when most Sunday tickets were at 2.5.

So now that the first quarter of the NFL Regular season is in the books, NFLGURU stands at a steady 13-10-1 ATS.

TNF: New England -10 over Indy

I typically don't like betting large favorites especially with a good QB on the opposing side. However injuries on the D and O of the Colts will be too much to over come tonight. Indy may keep it close in the first half but the Pats will pull away in Q3 and Q4 and beat them by a sound margin.

Tonight's spread will probably be below 6 by game time. Get your bets in now at +6 Washington is my suggestion. I locked in wash +6.5 on Saturday.

Watch for a close game with Brees pulling it out at the end.

Btw, ESPN will be hyping Brees' passing record for tonight. Yes he should eclipse it but that doesn't mean a blow out victory!
