TEN - RB DeMarco Murray day-to-day

    Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt
Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is considered day-to-day because of his hamstring injury, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Murray was slowed by a hamstring injury during the preseason. He'll need to be monitored closely so this injury doesn't get worse. In the meantime, fantasy owners who have Derrick Henry can prepare to start him while Murray is limited (or out). This week at home against the Seahawks, Henry could lead the way. After two games in 2017, Seattle has allowed an average of 121.5 rushing yards per game.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski day-to-day

    Source: ESPNBoston.com - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (groin) said he is feeling good and considers himself day-to-day.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gronkowski was banged up against the Saints but he had a big day for fantasy owners in Week 2. We'll likely see him limited in practice this week. Check back on Friday at the latest to get an idea of whether or not Gronkowski is going to give it a go in Week 3 against the Texans.

MIN - QB Sam Bradford dealing with bruise?

Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Bradford (knee) is believed to have a bone bruise in his injured knee, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bradford will have to deal with swelling and pain in his knee after taking a big hit in the season opener. He will be given an injection after which the Vikings will assess how the knee responds and go from there.

DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott stay request denied

Source: USA TODAY Sports - A.J. Perez

Updating an ongoing story, Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott's suspension remains on hold after the NFL's request for a stay in the case was denied Monday, Sept. 18.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With this stay request denied, Elliott looks like he could be able to play the entire 2017 season. His punishment may come at a later date, but for now fantasy owners should continue to start Elliott every week...even after a horrible performance against the Broncos in Week 2.

CAR - TE Greg Olsen had surgery Monday

    Source: ESPN - Chris Mortensen

Updating an earlier report, Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (foot) had surgery Monday, Sept. 18, and the surgery was a routine procedure. The team is still evaluating whether Olsen will go on the Reserve/Injured list.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Olsen is set to miss 6-8 weeks with this foot injury. While he's out, the Panthers will turn to Ed Dickson as their top tight end. Dickson isn't a great option to add via the waiver wire, so look elsewhere if you need help at the position.

DAL - QB Dak Prescott has ankle injury

Source: The Dallas Morning News - Jon Machota

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in the Cowboys' Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos, according to head coach Jason Garrett.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Prescott was bent awkwardly against the Broncos on Sunday. The Cowboys are lucky the injury was not more severe because it looked incredibly painful when it happened. Prescott will likely be limited in practice this week, but for now fantasy owners should plan on him playing in Week 3 against the Cardinals.

WAS - TE Jordan Reed day-to-day

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (chest) is considered day-to-day with a chest contusion, according to head coach Jay Gruden.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're two games into the season and Reed is already banged up....sounds about right. Fantasy owners should have been prepared for this. Vernon Davis gets a larger opportunity if Reed misses time.

CLE - WR Corey Coleman will miss multiple months

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) is expected to miss six to eight months with his broken hand.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He is a candidate to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list, but he would be able to return this season. Kenny Britt isn't doing much with the Browns, so Rashard Higgins may be the player who emerges as a primary target for the passing game.

BAL - RB Terrance West hobbled

Source: The Baltimore Sun - Jeff Zrebiec

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West (leg) is dealing with a soft-tissue injury and is day to day. He only played 15 snaps in Week 2.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Buck Allen came through for the Ravens and for fantasy owners in Week 2. West's status for Week 3 is up in the air right now, so the team may turn to Allen more than ever. Behind him, Alex Collins would get some work as a change-of-pace back. Since he's day-to-day, monitor West during the week of practice....but don't be planning on him playing in Week 3 at this time.

SEA - TE Jimmy Graham nursing sore ankle

Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta

Seattle Seahawks Jimmy Graham (ankle) came away from Week 2 with a sore ankle and it is 'unclear' at the moment if he will play in Week 3 versus the Tennessee Titans.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Graham has been downright awful to begin the season. The Seahawks offense in general hasn't been anything to write home about in 2017. If Graham misses time with this ankle injury, Luke Willson will step into a larger role.

PIT - TE Jesse James expects to play

    Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jesse James (ankle) said he expects to play in Week 3 even though he suffered an ankle injury during the team's Week 2 game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

James was dinged up against the Vikings, but he played 71 snaps on Sunday. Xavier Grimble only played 16 snaps in Week 2 and Vance McDonald didn't play at all due to a back injury. James is likely to be limited during the week of practice, but we should see him back out there in Week 3 against the Bears.

NE - WR Phillip Dorsett hopes to practice

    Source: ESPNBoston.com - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) said his knee is a little sore but hopes to participate in practice this week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Patriots are banged up on offense, so having Dorsett available would help. Dorsett was able to catch three passes for 68 yards before exiting the game against the Saints in Week 2.

HOU - WR Will Fuller on the practice field

Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (shoulder) participated in practice Monday, Sept. 18. His status for Week 3 is uncertain at this point.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's all hands on deck as the Texans play the Patriots in Week 3. Fuller may be able to get back on the field this week, and his speed would certainly help stretch a Patriots defense that has allowed an average of 350.0 passing yards per game (31st in the NFL).

GB - WR Randall Cobb is day-to-day

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb's (shoulder) MRI revealed no significant damage to his injured shoulder. He is considered day-to-day, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The MRI is good news, but it still gives no clarity as to when Cobb will be back on the field. If Cobb is down, and Jordy Nelson (quad) is banged up, we could see Davante Adams get a large chunk of the passing game. Geronimo Allison could move up the depth chart if Cobb misses time.

IND - QB Andrew Luck won't play this week

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We should see Jacoby Brissett start again for the Colts. As we've seen over two games, the Colts skill position players should be downgraded while Luck continues to miss time.

HOU - WR Jaelen Strong released

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Houston Texans WR Jaelen Strong was released Monday, Sept. 18.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Strong played 20 snaps against the Bengals on Thursday night in Week 2 despite the fact the Texans are desperate for help in the passing game. A third-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft, Strong has only 28 receptions over two years in the league. Injuries and off-field trouble have plagued his pro career.

WAS - RB Rob Kelley also day-to-day

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Washington Redskins RB Rob Kelley (ribs) is considered day-to-day with a rib cartilage injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ribs injuries are painful and difficult to play through. Kelley is no lock to play in Week 3, and that opens the door for rookie Samaje Perine to be the team's lead back. Chris Thompson has great value in PPR leagues as a pass-catching option who can make big plays anytime he touches the ball. We'll know more about Kelley's availability later in the week.

BUF - QB Tyrod Taylor to remain a starter in Week 3

    Source: WKBW.com - Joe Buscaglia

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor will be the starting quarterback in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos, according to head coach Sean McDermott.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He's the starter even though the Bills offense was atrocious against the Panthers in Week 2. The Bills don't have a great matchup against the swarming Denver Broncos defense in Week 3, and Taylor should struggle against the league's best defense.

PHI - RB Donnel Pumphrey out for season

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane

Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles RB Donnel Pumphrey (hamstring) is out for the season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Pumphrey flashed a bit during training camp and the preseason. The team is likely looking at him as the eventual replacement to Darren Sproles.

CIN - TE Tyler Eifert iffy for Week 3

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (back, knee) is battling back and knee injuries, and his status for Week 3 is uncertain.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fantasy owners need to look elsewhere for help at the position. Eifert has four catches for 46 yards in two games, and the Bengals offense has yet to score a touchdown in 2017.
