    Year of the Dog?
Last year the pros and books took it on the chin. Lots of fan favorites consistently covering big spreads. Was it an anomaly? The reaction from the books is to give the dogs even more points. For the first week there sure are some generous offerings.

    CHI +7
    JAX +6
    OAK +1.5
    NYJ +8
    WAS +1
    CLE +9.5
    DET +2
    IND +5
    NO +3
    NYG +4
    SF +6
    BAL +3
    DET +2
LAC +3 (NOT the Clippers - the Chargers )

A couple here I wouldn't touch but after passing on the obvious shitters (CLE) it's hard to imagine a ticket of all dogs wouldn't come out profitable.

I've got to sleep on it but for now I really like CHI, SF, OAK, NYG

Forget the list of individual teams from week 1 (months ago) but on a more general basis, the dogs are barking this year?

I'm by no means a pro and am honestly probably a shitty amateur on a statistical basis. BUT, it sure seems like the dogs (and books and pros) are winning this year. On a rare good streak, I've won parlays of unders and home dogs 3 times in a row on evening NFL games over the last couple weeks.

As an example, tonight's MIA/NE game NEVER should have had a total of 48.5 or NE favored by 12 on the road but us public hacks give our hard earned $$$ away.

I'm not even close to having the motivation or ability to calculate things but is this more of a "normal" year? Home dogs covering, books winning, etc.??
