I know it's preseason, but Patriots gave up 407 yards per game, 27 more than the 2nd worst. Now they're just going to lock it down because the games are real?

Never take much if anything away from preseason and certainly not from preseason stats.. I mean who cares how many yards a team gives up when more than 60% of snaps are played w a lineup that will never be on the field together when it counts?
Hypothetically if those stats did mean anything still it not like pats defense has ever been incredibly dominate in the yards allowed aspect, they are good situationally and when it counts as in they don't allow points..
I have no problem w a play on kc, I think line is little inflated for sure and if I had to play it kc would be the play. Just don't love the idea of being against pats in their home opener for my 1st bet of the season. If game was Sunday it be a pass for me so unless line gets to 10 it will be a pass for me here..
No problem w the play but the logic incredibly flawed imo if you really basing it off something as trivial as preseason yards allowed..

Pats were 0-4 in the 2008 Preseason and went 11-5 that year.

Not to mention more than any other team I think pats success is as much scheme and gameplan as talent. We will never see bellicheat putting his schemes on film in preseason.

The bet could be right, but the thinking process is wrong. =/

My thoughts exactly. No problem w the play, just the logic in this case.

Good thought but Pre is way different from regular season. Bank said it well, they're not going to show the cards.

There is certainly got to be some take away with the weak Patriots pre season defense. Proof was tonight. Not projecting any future games but they have some work to do there.
